I always assumed that The Master's looks have become so dramatic because he always wears his game face.

Spike was drunk in "Lover's Walk" and "Not Fade Away".
Maybe all of a vampire's hair can grow but only to the length it was when the human was turned, so it's not really growth, more like regeneration. That would exaplain why Spike and Angel have had long hair on occassion, and also why they never grow beards.

My view is: it is awesome, lol. I waited until I was legal, but that was mostly a coincedence. I was with my girlfriend 6 months before we did it, which was nearly 5 years ago now. That makes me feel old, and it's odd to think I may well have only 1 sexual partner.

I didn't think he was so bad, especially for Buffy's first big bad. At least he had a personality, unlike Adam. Adam wasn't supposed to have a personality. It's kinda ironic, since he's a composite of so many beings, and yet, he isn't any. Adam kinda served as the manifestation of one of the major themes of S4: identity. He didn't know who or what he was at first. Hence, his whole need to understand by dissecting, which is a very reductionist way of looking at things (i.e. science). The only problem with that is that personality and issues like the soul aren't easy to tackle with a reductionist method. But I digress... my point was, I think Adam gets a bad rep that's kinda undeserved because his entire character makes sense in a sorta metaview of S4. Nicely put. He was also a culmination of the Initiative's meddling, which would have come later on in the season had Maggie Walsh stuck around. Unfortunately the actress had to move on and Adam's arrival was moved up. His arc lost steam and tension.

I've recently been really enjoying Buffy, picking random places to watch from; and it's all because I've decided to ignore season 6 & 7.

Didn't like reading the articles. This isn't a heroic effort to bring unity to the 'verse - that could have happened easily between the two companies - it's just Dark Horse getting back custody of their lesser child (for better or worse).
All of my favourite comics came from IDW, so it's a shame to see that end. Everything tied into eachother is a double-edged sword. Season 8 sucks balls, it's out of my mind now and if everything ties to that...then I'm out as far as comics go.

I guess that while the Season 8 fanbase is smaller than the show's, they would reflect the target market for other merch pretty well. DST shows no interest at all though, so they'd have to let it go first I imagine.

Meh, call me half intelligent if you will but I liked that the writers made an effort to tie so many of their pointless mysteries together (like Chang's aliases, the hurley bird and Room 23) lol. Plus it was nice to give Walt one last chance for some screen time.
Hurley and Ben are awesome. Almost makes me want a 7th season.

That little epilogue was nice, very happy it was made. I do wonder though, if so many answers could be given in just 12 minutes, why couldn't space be found in season 6?

Bringing Tara back in Season 7 is just as ridiculous an idea as killing her off in Season 6. She was introduced as a whimpering victim because Willow had outgrown it, and was dispensed as an excuse to make Willow a quipping supervillain. I disagree. The main villain of season six (according to Joss) was life. Death is a part of life, arguably the worst part, so I think it made sense for the scoobies to have to deal with a sudden, unexpected death by the hands of another human that season. I see the logic there, but dealing with a very real death was already handled with Joyce the year before. It was much more effectively done then as well.

I'm guessing it won't be coming with the R2 version as it's coming out quicker here than the american one, and the comic is the only delay I can think of.

Quite amazed that Aguilera flopped so badly because her success has shown some legs. Evanescence will struggle for sure because they embody a fad long gone.

I will pick up Lynch's Spike series in trades. Don't care about anything else, waiting on that complete ATF book though.

These suggestions are great, reasonable and logical, which simply doesn't fit into the "lets throw bags of shit at our characters" season lol

The Joss quote makes it clear that he regards ATF as his last involvement on the Angel title before he allowed IDW to go off and continue on their own. I don't see how anyone can read anything else into that.
Joss is not that discrete a person; he moans like a bitch about Alien Ressurection (sorry Joss, it was a shite script). If he felt a need to reject ATF for some reason you'd hear it from him, otherwise it's just an invention from the fanbase as far as I'm concerned.

I feel so loved and special. I can feel the respect and feel-good vibes coming off you, aiming at me and other idiots. Bask in the love xx I wouldn't agree that parodies are supposed to be horrible, at all. Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs, Airplane!, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, History of the World Part 1, This is Spinal Tap and a slew of other parodies are far from horrible. They are good comedies or movies in their own right (some being the best comedies of the last 25 years. A horrible movie is still horrible, it doesn't get a pass because it's a bad parody of a fad. This ^^ Parody can be very intelligently made. I loved the Naked Gun. The guys behind these things have no idea what they're doing.
