As far as single issues go, nothing has topped A Beautiful Sunset.
Season 8's prime was definitely No Future For You through Wolves at the Gate. Ugh I miss those days. It's a tough choice between those two, but Wolves at the Gate wins it. Just has all the elements I loved from the show.

Interesting stuff though.

Can finally read this thread! I was about to explode from GIF overload but then... I love you Emmie. What a disappointing Comic Con Buffyverse wise. None of this news excites me. Some good Season 9 stuff in the Buffyfest Allie interview, but overall... damn. I'm looking forward to Lynch's Spike series, but I was hoping it'd just do its own thing, establish its own story. Tying into Season 8 is probably going to cause even more headaches. Yay for a new Angel writer, but I'll pass. Same goes for Illyria. And major confusion on Allie co-writing the final arc. I just... don't get it. Two and a half issues writing the characters on his own?! I won't be surprised if it's fail. Ugh, I miss all the excitement. Now it's just "meh".

I had $4 credit for Amazon's VOD, and curiousity got the better of me so I bought the first two. The voice acting was bad in the first one, and it got even worse in the second. Buffy became a valley girl, and ugh that scream. The harsh faux-English accent for Giles was laughable. I thought it'd be harder to turn Joss' dialogue into a cheesefest. They just don't fit with the characters.
No lines were cut out of the second issue as far as I could tell. If they were, it wasn't as obvious as the few from the first.

From Whedonesque, this is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Blu-Ray too. Click here. This is making my head hurt! It sucks, but it's Buffy, it's different, and it's in high-def. Why can't there just be word bubbles? The buying this and watching it on mute (with subtitles), is sounding tempting. I hope whatever Dark Horse's plan is involves Buffy. Depending it on what it is, it might make up my mind.

Yeah, I gotta admit the animation does look a lot cooler than I expected, there's a lot more movement to it. If it wasn't for the voice acting it'd be something I'd love to watch. The voice actress delivered all the lines differently than how I imagined Sarah Michelle Gellar saying them, and that's just annoying.
I've seen motion comics with no voices, just the word bubbles. If the DVD had that option I'd probably get it. Watching it on mute is also probable, but then there would be no cool sound effects. Most likely it's a no from me.

This movie is even better the second time. At some parts it feels a little more tell than show, having to remind the audience what's going on, but overall this is a masterpiece.

Wow. I just expected The Long Way Home.
Still very iffy on this whole thing. As stated many times, I can't get over having other people voice the characters when I can just read and imagine the actors, but maybe I'll give the first episode a go.

1. Swim with Great White Sharks 2. Go to Tornado Alley 3. Sky Dive 4. Go to Disney World/Universal/anywhere in that area 5. Ride on a freaking airplane 6. Travel to Africa 7. Catch a glimpse of Angelina Jolie in person -list becomes unreal at this point- 8. Be a contestant on The Amazing Race 9. Die in a horror movie 10. Win the lottery

I'm insanely happy with the nominations this year. Finally Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler got nominated! Also happy to see Elizabeth Mitchell get a Guest Actress nod after being snubbed last year. I wish Parks got more love, can't believe it wasn't nominated for Comedy series.

The only thing stopping me from going to this is death. A friend who also likes Buffy goes to school in Boston so we'll be hitting it up. Doubt I'll go for all three days, so I'll wait to see which day is the best before buying tickets. Gotta limit myself money-wise though, I'd go crazy at the retail store.
Been waiting for something like this in New England for forever. The Wizard convention in 2005 was real bust because of the crappy way they handled meeting Eliza so hopefully this will be better.

Yeah I just started watching the show and I'm really enjoying it, but now I'm not sure if I even want to bother with the movie. I haven't been loving the trailers, but I thought it'd still be entertaining enough. There are some huge fans of the show at my work and a few saw it last night.... and they are pissed.

Beautiful cover. Dark and gritty. I quite like the emptiness. Guess this is going to be a pretty depressing issue based on the covers.

Hahaha that was amazing! Oh, and word from Thomas Dekker, Brian AG, and one of the producers is that they are still working on a direct to DVD movie. tsccwiki.wetpaint.com/thread/4007210/Probably not likely, but love that there's still hope.

Bwaha. That was great. He did get her in the end.
I'm bored as heck so I'll try to make lists. I've only seen most of Seasons 3-4 once so the episodes will be tough.
Top Seasons: 1. S5 2. S1 3. S3 4. S4 5. S6 6. S2
Thought Season 6 started and ended with amazing episodes, and had moments of brilliance in the middle, but the majority just frustrated me. Not because we weren't getting answers, but I lost touch with the characters.
Top 10 Characters: 1. Sawyer 2. Juliet 3. Locke 4. Jack 5. Ben 6. Shannon 7. Kate 8. Hurley 9. Desmond 10. Vincent
Top 10 Episodes: (chronological order, and probably will change) - Dues Ex Machina - Exodus - The Man Behind the Curtain - Through the Looking Glass - The Constant - LaFleur - Dead is Dead - The Incident - Happily Ever After - The End
Top 10 Couples: 1. Sawyer and Juliet 2. Sun and Jin 3. Hurley and Libby 4. Jack and Kate 5. Claire and Charlie 6. Desmond and Penny 7. Faraday and Charlotte 8. Shannon and Sayid 9. Rose and Bernard 10. Alex and Karl
