Best Season of Buffy

Season 7 has to be the best season for me.
But maybe thats because i loved Kennedy so much haha

Season 3.

Season 2 was also excellent, and season 5 was great in that it had the best build up to a finale. But season 3 is quintessentially buffy for me. It has the high school setting, we are introduced to faith, the mayor was a hoot, and there were just so many great episodes.

I keep findint myself in the minority of these threads!
I voted for season 6. It had such a dark plot and great drama. Even though I HATE Spuffy with all my being, I think it made for some great drama. The writers really took you to a place that you didn't want to go, an uncomfortable and akward place just like where Buffy herself was at. GENIOUS!

Season three was my favorite. I just think it had everything the show could offer, not too little and not too much.

For instance, season one was too corny, season two was overflowing with (IMO) awful and arduous Buffy/Angel drama, season four was too mechanical, season six was Buffy/Spike overload, and season seven just seemed like writer's block with the occassional clever quip or suspenseful scene. I really liked season five, but I liked season three more overall.

To me, season three had a perfect balance of everything! It was scary, clever, funny, dramatic, and action-packed without any of those aspects being "too much"...so that's my longwinded opinion lol

it was a tough decision between series 2,3 and 5... but i had to choose 5 as it saw the exit of riley and the build up to the grand finale!!!

I can't believe nobody chose season 2! I think Buffy really came into its own in this season. There were some great episodes "Passions" comes to mind. And who doesn't love evil Angelus? He's way more interesting than broody Angel.

It rocked, Not only was there Faithness, there was also the underlying subtext all the way through. God, I love that season FAR too much

I'm partial to Season 3. To me that is the quintessential Buffy season. Although I love them all.

I voted for Season 3, as well. I just loved Faith and the Mayor. I didn't like how awful Angel acted towards Buffy at the end, but overall, I think it'sana amazing season.

My second favorite season was Season 2. Spike and Dru, then Angelus, it was all great.

I voted season 7. There isn't an episode in that season that I don't like. I like the Buffy and Spike relationship in that season. Plus, Faith. And Andrew is so funny.

I like the Buffy and Spike relationship in season 5 too. I had a really hard time deciding. It changes, but I think the last 3 seasons are at the top for me.

I also like evil willow in season 6, so this was hard
