This one is hard for me to choose. I'd have to go with season 5 though. Although I am fond of seasons 1 & 2 as well. The reason I picked season 5 is because I like how Spike becomes part of the group, I like how Spike and Angel bring out the worst in each other, it's always hilarious to see them two bicker. The major downside of season 5 though is so many of my favorite characters die: Fred, Wesley, Cordelia, and Lindsay. Oh and Eve is the worst character in Angel history, lol. But other than that I really do enjoy the flashbacks of season 5 and some of the character developments.

I'm torn about season 1 and 5, but in the end I guess it would be season 1. It had lots of fantastic stories, it had Cordy at her best, I really liked the family bond between Wes, Angel and Cordy, it had great guest stars and incredible finale. ;D

Season 2/4 , 1 and 3 i loved the most , season 5 i hated ,- i hated that cordy was gone and that spike was there but it was great that harm was in it....

Season 4 does it for me,i like how theres 4 main villains (including Angelus), and yet it develops from one villian, to another, from The Beast, to Cordy and Angelus, to Jasmine, just great, love seeing Faith back again, Orpheus (ep with Alyson Hannigan) rocked!

In season 4 i love the way that you had loads of little storyline but in the end it all came into one

I love love love Season 4!!! Never have I been more excited to see a show then I was during this season. Every Wednesday, I would just get so excited knowing that there would be a new episode.

Season 4 for me. I always hate the first seasons of a TV show, and Season 5 always bothered me because of the WRH theme. I did love Smile Time though . When it comes down to it, it's either Season 3 or 4. But S4 always wins out. I loved the plot twists, especially the Beast, Faith, and Lilah moments.

Gonna have to go with Season 5 here. I loved some parts of every season. But to me Five was the best by far! I hope we get a conclusion to that arc someday!

It's tough to choose between seasons 1 & 2, but i ended up going with season 1. I thought the series was great right from the start. I adored doyle, and thought that he, angel and cordelia (or the actors rather)worked so well together. I would have loved for him to have stayed on longer, but we got wesley so all was good.

Of the entire series, I enjoyed the first half of Season 1 most of all. Cordelia and Doyle's humour made the show so great, and I really liked Kate Lockley for whatever reason. I wasn't a fan of Wesley's return to the Buffyverse though. I didn't enjoy the second half so much. But the first season was definitely darker than the rest, which I did like a lot.

I voted for season 5. I didn't much care for season 4. Other than that though, I feel that every season of Angel stands up incredibly well in comparison to the others.
I like how Angel really built itself on stand alone wpisodes with smaller archs in the back ground to every season.
I think that is where season 4 strayed. They tried to hard to have a season long arch and (imo) it got wrather scattered.

I voted for season 5. It was as clost to a perfect season as it could be with out Cordelia. In my oppinions, I would give it 4.5 stars....5 if Corsy were in it!

I'd have to say Season Five was my favorite. I just wish that Angel would've lasted at least one more season to see how the character Illyria developed as well as all of the other characters.

Season six would have been great! Angel was amazing for all 5 seasons but I think it really hit the ground running in season 5!
It was finally it's own show, independent from Buffy. It is definately an amazign 22 hours of telivision!
