Hmm, I never realized that was a wig...
And gumgnome, completely agree about Normal Again.

I hate watching Gone and Buffy's wig-like hair! Just seemed more noticable. I know SMG couldn't just start cutting her own hair, but that wig was just so obvious. I know! The first thing I thought of when I saw the wig was if they recycled the one she wore in the flashback of her becoming the chosen one at her old high school. But eh, even that one looked less plastic-y.

I've always just played along with Normal Again's asylum revelation as a symptom of the illness. She never went, just believed she did.
What about this one....?
In "Selfless", there's a big thing about how vegeance demons can't take back their curses, and how Anya no longer wants to do it anymore. She goes through all that crap with D'hoffryn and loses her friend. Why didn't she just smash her pendant? ...That thing that holds her power... which would undo her spells and make her human again if broken... remember that? lol

Then tried to get Angel to kill Buffy. When he refused, Angel said that he would kill himself and the First settled for that... i always felt that The First should've been known as "The power that tried to get Angel to kill Buffy" as opposed to (paraphrasing from Chosen) "The power that tried to get Angel to kill himself." and it bothered me that Felicia Day got a co-star credit when she was more a part of the show than Indigo (Rona) or Lelaine (Chloe) or Kristy Wu (Chao-Ann)

Did the First actually bring Angel back? I figured it was the powers, and the First just tried to act on it after it happened.

It could have been either one. Or something else. Senior partners, Jasmine and c/o or someone jasmine manipluated to do it. I mean in case Jasmine made the powers that be make Cordy into a higher being, I bet she could manipluate them into pulling out Angel. to my knowledge, it was established that The First brought him back. i think they started the search with the powers strong enough to revive Angel. Started the search?

Another thing that always bugged me about the whole smashing pendant thing is that it's meant to reverse the wishes that Anyanka's already made right? But the only one that actually seems to reverse is the last wish that she granted. For example, we still seem to be in a world where the Bolshevik Revolution occurred. So obviously not all of her wishes were reversed...

Are we sure she caused the Bolshevik Revolution?
It can't be all the wishes, since we got Olaf and that guy from Hells Bells(unless they couldn't be turned back because one was in rock and one might have been in another dimension).
I think it's a continuity error.

Are we sure she caused the Bolshevik Revolution? I think Halfrek says Anyanka is "partly responsible" for it.

I guess if someone wished something that partially caused it, it should have been made undone in The wish.

Quote from The Wish: Giles "Ah! Ah! Ah! Yes! Here. 'In order to defeat Anyanka, one must destroy her powercenter. This should reverse all the wishes she's granted, rendering her mortal and powerless again.' So it is a continuity mistake.

One thing that ruined it for me was the mix up over who sired Spike. It just urked me for some reason. In Season 2 Episode 3 "School Hard" Spike says to Angel "You were my sire man, You were my yoda". But later in the tv show during flashbacks we discover that it was Drusilla who sired Spike, Not Angel. I know Joss has admitted to screwing it up, But still. I'm just too much of a perfectionist!
Also, I realllllly hate Warren. He pisses me off. I'm glad Dark Willow killed him. Harsh, But true. He was so annoying. He was the one who started the whole super villian club with Jonathan and Andrew. I admit, At first when they were testing Buffy IE: Xanders work,The Magic Shop,UC Sunnydale, those types of things were hilarious..But when they went after Buffy for no reason and were relentless about it..I started getting really annoyed.
I really like Andrew though. He's hilarious!

What always bothered me is the way that the scoobies talk in the first two seasons. "Here is the bug man, coo coo ca choo". They seem to have an unlimited supply of pop culture references. I mean I can see a select number of kids talking like this, but everyone they know seems to do it. Didn't strike me as that realistic, even if the way they talk is fun to listen to.

He admitted screwing it up? Didn't he just say that everyone above you in your blood line, for example your sire's sire, is also called your sire? Instead of saying grandsire, he said sire? Or maybe Joss made up that explanation later on, having changed his mind and wanted Drusilla to be Spike's sire, not Angel.
