FOX is now listing this episode as the season finale, according to a recent press release detailing all the May finales. www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=20090408fox01Considering there are supposed to be 13 episodes this season, this is definitely worrisome. Some people are saying that this may be good news and that FOX wants to use episode 13 (Epitaph One) as a Season 2 premiere episode, while others think FOX is just being FOX and not showing the full season for some reason. There will probably be more information on Whedonesque later on. Considering Episode 13 is supposedly unrelated to the Season's arc, it could be very possible that it will be used as a Season 2 episode. I hope so. |

Does this mean that MAYBE it'll be shown as a S2 premiere or is episode 12 gonna be considered the series finale ! |

I don't like that. Hopefully it's just FOX screwing up. There was some mass confusion a few weeks ago that the finale wouldn't air because the return of Prison Break on April 17 would be a repeat at 8 PM and a new episode at 9 PM, but then there was a link that said it would be two new episodes which left room for the last four episodes of Dollhouse.
And now it's being said that Prison Break coming back on April 17 will be a repeat and a new episode, according to TV listings, which doesn't leave enough room for the 13th episode of Dollhouse, because the episode numbers between PB and Dollhouse would be uneven. I don't know if that's right or not. So if April 17 had two new PB episodes, both PB and Dollhouse would air their finales on May 15th. Now it seems like May 15th will be a two-hour PB series finale, leaving Dollhouse with one more episode....
The Dollhouse finale is included in the DVD info released by FOX. So FOX either screwed up the schedule on accident, or they wont air the last episode, cancel the show, and it'll only been seen on DVD. But that'd go against them saying they are airing all episodes.... so hopefully it's a screw up.

Maybe 1.12 is like Buffy's 4.21 and 4.22 is more like 1.13 so they feel 1.12 is more of a finale so they might just use 1.13 as a 2.01?

"This might be a mistake. FOX have shifted back "Mental" a week so FOX *do* have a slot free they can use for the Dollhouse finale. It's also possible they just don't want to air Joss, Jed and Maurissa's episode. Speaking to PR people now.

That's something I guess, still doesn't really explain why FOX included Epitaph One in the DVD info or why Omega is the finale.
But thanks for that. I will refrain from violence until we get more info.

At the very least I hope it's 2x01 or included as a bonus in the dvd along with "Echo".. that'll raise the sales for sure!

OMG I don't know how to add preview pics but they're up! And they're awesome. From what it looks like, it seems the Dollhouse imprinted November and Sierra to hunt down the rogue active; Echo? Or at least that's what I got from it. |

OMG I don't know how to add preview pics but they're up! And they're awesome. That's them - and yes, they do look awesome! There's not much in the photos, but it's enough to make me start wondering what's happening! I'm wondering that, too. Seriously bad if it is - because Sierra and November are as badass as Echo is. Something tells me the finale is really going to be an epic cliffhanger... And kinda wondering if "Epitaph One" ties into that even remotely. |

SPECULATION after watching the Promo: Anyone else getting the feeling that Alpha imprints Caroline in the blond woman so that he can kill Caroline and rid Echo of the only threat to her becoming his perfect-composite-princess. And that Echo isn't going to play along with his plan because she's ornery. |

From reading the synopsis, my prediction is that Ballard is gonna become a handler but ask for November to no longer be a doll? If we don't have a second season this won't be very interesting. I'm interested in finding out how Alpha became obsessed with Echo. EXCITED!  |
