From reading the synopsis, my prediction is that Ballard is gonna become a handler but ask for November to no longer be a doll? If we don't have a second season this won't be very interesting. I'm interested in finding out how Alpha became obsessed with Echo. EXCITED!  Ahhh that would almost redeem Paul's character if he agreed to be a handler if November was let free. He wouldn't be a Obsessive-over-Caroline-whore anymore. That would make me happy   MAJOR SPOILER: Yes, this actually does happen, I believe. In the April Fools Day Dollhouse clip shown on FOX, the scene is Ballard standing over Echo in the chair, he is in a suit, and taking her down the elevator. |

Just for clarification, that April Fool's Video by no means indicated that Ballard would ask for November's release, but only that he does indeed become a handler. This was also set up nicely at the end of Briar Rose. |

No prob, VampSlayer!! SPECULATION after watching the Promo: Anyone else getting the feeling that Alpha imprints Caroline in the blond woman so that he can kill Caroline and rid Echo of the only threat to her becoming his perfect-composite-princess. And that Echo isn't going to play along with his plan because she's ornery. I definitely got that impression, Emmie. It would be the only way to really redeem Echo in my eyes. Though I have to say that from the promo vid, and the actress imprinted with Caroline, that scene looks like a major let-down. As for the prediction of November being released at Ballard's request... This would align with the summary which states that one Doll will be permanently deactivated.
But who knows? Honestly when I first read that I thought it was referring to Dr. Saunder's being Whiskey (surprising past) and Victor dying from his wounds from Alpha. PS: I really really really hope that the mole sending messages through actives is revealed in this episode. |

That wasn't conclusive. A few of us (myself included) don't think the NSA Spy (Dominic) and the mole sending messages were the same person. The discussion is in the "Messages to Ballard (Spoilers)" thread here. |

I think it'll be either Echo or Claire getting their past revealed. There's clearly more to Echo, and something from the promo made me wonder how real Caroline is. It makes the most sense that the doll being permanently deactivated would be Alpha. Claire and Victor's scars can be fixed with average plastic surgery, Echo is the main character, no one has shown signs of wanting to set November free, and Sierra has been too useful. Whether or not there's something to the Whiskey theories, this episode should be interesting. |

The whole internal monologue turned chaotic by 43 different personalities (multilogue?) sounds a lot like Glory, only on a massive scale. Maybe he has to feed on people's brain-energy to "maintain order" ;D
I also would love to watch Alpha and Echo as villains trying to take over the world. What would Ballard be thinking? |

From the looks of the new trailer it seems Saunders(Whiskey) is in her DOLL state and possibly Topher is getting her to deactivate her??? and give her job to Victor.
BTW WTH is up with those dolls on the wall in back of Claire when she turns around.
And I guess this was Echo's last year cause Caroline says "it's been five years"
Maybe Alpha is trying to drive Echo or Caroline as crazy as him because he mentioned he wanted Caroline to hurt Echo!
I cannot wait for some November/Sierra bounty action cause we never saw November as anyone else other than herself in Needs or just Mellie and she finally gets to team up with a doll.
