Here are my theories for this issue, not that many: 1. Kennedy and Satsu are in a life threatening situation and kiss but NOTHING will go further than that because in the "Time of Your Life" arc, I could see that Kennedy really loved Willow and was paranoid that Buffy liked her (quite funny actually). 2. Buffy and Twilight go for another one on one fight, but this time she's more prepared. 3. Riley will play a bigger part in the issue, either meet up with Buffy or one of the scoobies (won't get revealed) and helps Twilight out with something. 4. My last theory is that Dawn goes through her final transformation; hopefully when its the Dawn/Xander story thingy, she goes back to normal. So that's about it, I'm kinda hoping something will spark between Kennedy and Satsu but Kennedy will be more mature about it and say no. Willow & Kenned = forever! "until Tara comes back" lol.

Buffy season eight takes place after the events of season 7 and during the events of Angel season five. I am guessing that she will be wherever Buffy is at the time and pull some stunt that in the end of the issue will leave her unwelcome to be in Scotland or wherever the issue is going to take place. She could possibly start an epic battle against the slayer crew and the vampires of the world and when she notices that the slayers are winning she decides to skip town (something I love about harmony, especially in "The Real Me".) Anyway, I have another theory for this issue -- just came to me. I was thinking that maybe the whole "Vampires are in" thing is not a spoiler but somewhat of a tagline for the issue. I mean if vampires were told in public and everyone knew about them, it would kill the whole suspense of the show -- vampires are bad; run!!! Or another theory, if everyone knew they would get as far away as possible and it would be another "skip town" thing like the final season of Buffy (on TV). I'm hoping the tagline means that because Harmony is still acting like a Cordette with wearing the right clothes and funny things like that, it means that she's gathering another gang of vampires like in "the real me" and is planning on going after the slayer for one last time. Okay I was going to finish there but I had one last thing to say, in season 5 of Angel when she comes into it, she's good. She's not evil. She admits that she's trying to do the whole good vs evil thing. So maybe something happens in this issue that explains why she wanted to be good. Also, if these story arcs take place after Angel season 5 I'm happy to know that she's still alive. She made the fifth season what it is -- she replaced my favourite character and made me want to watch more and more and more. Cordelia was great in the Angel series (a real bitch in Buffy, but a cool bitch) and when she came back for the 100th episode it was really moving. Tell me what you think about me ideas...

Oh my god! I just got it! The cover art is not only amazing but I just understood about the whole cute puppy thing. First my original thought was Harmony still acts like a little girl (even though she can be really tough and mean) and that the dogs represented the child in her. But then i took a closer look and one of the puppies was a BLOOD SUCKING FIEND! Now I get it. There's too sides to her -- the cute and innocent little girl that has always been inside her, and the demon within that everynow and then needs to come out. I'm sorry that I didn't write anything about the actual issue its just I thought my realisation was brilliant -- that is if no one else figured it out before me -- okay now I'm worried. Tell me what you think...

After reading the previews it brought a smile to my face -- it reminded me of the simpler times with Buffy; when it was just her, Willow, Xander and the humerous lines Giles used to say. I liked how Buffy interacted with her friends by saying stuff like "Hey, maybe he'll get eaten by a giant snake and you'll wear an eye patch and be in conrtol of hundreds of women" and things like that. What I think will happen in this issue: I think this issue is about Buffy recooperating after such a traumatic experience of the season 8 story arc "Time of Your Life". I'm hoping there is an explanation that all this is happening other than having a dream -- possibly it is a vision that in the end of it will help her in the longcoming; or possibly some sort of realisation of how hard she's making her life seem when she could make it as easier as it was in the first season of the show. What I want to Happen in the Issue: Two things I want this issue to be about: 1. In this issue, i think it would be so cool if she went through all of her life over again in this one-shot to try an change everything to make her present life a better place; finding a way to save Joyce, stopping Warren before he kills Tara, things like that and so at the end we see them in several pannels all happy and with the people they love. Then right at the end of it, on a full page panel, she wakes up with tears in her eyes (could be a two panel thing - her waking up - then her crying). Either way I think it would be a great character development for Buffy, to show us that no matter how strong she is, that no matter how good of a fighter she is, she's still only human. 2. I think another good thing for this issue to be about is the complete opposite to my first idea (this one including Jo Chen's cover art). I think that it should be about Buffy remembering a simpler time to when her and her friends were all alive and healthy. In the end of this issue, it should show buffy waking up with her two best friends beside her (Xander and Willow) watching the television. Willow's eating popcorn and Xanders cuddled around the television watching in as Buffy leans forward from the cushion or whatnot she's fallen asleep on as we show a panel of her normally, no expression on her face; then another panel of a smile growing; then another of her fully smiling; then ending with a full black panel. I know you may think I'm rambling and that the script and comic is already done, but this is what I wish it would be about and hope that some of my ideas would be in it. Tell me what you think about my idea, good, bad?

I don't mean Eeeeeeeeeew as in the sexuality of it, just the fact that it caught me by a BIG SURPRISE and that my expression was more of what Willow's was in the issue which was "What are you doing in bed with Satsu?"
I understand that Buffy isn't gay, I knew that already, its just an aspect of season 8 that I didn't like. So you don't have to get annoyed at me or anyone else for not getting over it ... it's our opinion and what you've got to say is your opinion.

I have to agree with watcher ....
The conclusion to the Time of your Life story arc raised even more questions as to what the hell happened to Willow? I thought that they should've explained why she was evil or better yet the FRAY universe should have been erased otherwise it was all just going to happen again and again and again and again!
If I were to rate the Time of your Life story arc I would give it a 6/10 due to the fact that it was irrelevant to the story of Buffy season 8 and because of how confused I am right now.
Other than that, season 8 of buffy ROCKS!

As long as they don't do what they did in the fourth season of Angel where the each major bad guy had a boss and their boss had a boss and the boss's boss had a boss ... it's too confusing.
I just want the Twilight story to be concluded at the end (unless the ninth season continues with it) so that it ends with no "What the...?'s" and stuff like that.
BTW I really didn't enjoy the "Time of Your Life" Fray crossover arc because I felt as though it was irrelevant to the story - to Twilight - to the entire series because Fray is still there.
I liked Fray the Future Slayer series that Joss made but I always considered that to be in a whole different world. Don't ask me why but it didn't feel right to say she was the only one chosen when "Two" slayers would roam the earth forever (buffy/faith) and then when all the potentials became slayers I was like "Even better!" but when I heard Fray/BTVS s8 crossover I was quite disappointed.

I think the relationship of Xander and Renee was planned like this, her death to me was something I thought was great for his character. It reminded him how hard it was to lose someone and also I MISS ANYA

Best parts:
1. I like how each issue keeps me guessing, especially with this whole Twilight villain, it reminds me of several of Joss Whedon's episodes of btvs.
2. I like how Xander forms another relationship only to relive the feeling of losing someone you care about; the look on his face when the blood splattered all over him was shocking!
3. A full 4 issue arc on my favourite character Faith!
4. Dawn's character development which is shown through all the different transformations -- we get to see more of her and how she would cope with these things better than on the show when she was slightly whiney (really whiney).
and last of all...
5. Buffy's first fight against Twilight -- I loved this one most of all because she was thrown around like a ragdoll but would never give up ... but as for Satsu, she was hit once and was unconscious within the second.
Now, here are my five things I don't like so much about Season 8
1. Willow's use of magic ... So during the TV series she became out of control with it which was GREAT for her character but I liked the storyling of season seven where she was too afraid to use it, when she had to keep it under control -- now, its like she doesn't care anymore and at the rate the writers are making her go she'll be off her head in no time.
2. I don't like how they have used Giles so little in these story arcs and one-shots. I remember how many people missed him during season 6 so they brought him back for the seventh season. Now, he shows up then goes, shows up then goes; good thing there's going to be an arc about him and Faith.
3. Satsu and Buffy = Eeeeeewwwwwww!
4. Riley is back and appeared on like one to two pages tops; you're killing me here.
5. I don't understand the reason for Warren to be here; Amy possibly, but Warren? It's time to get explain-y with the whole subject.
Oh and one last thing...
I LOVE DRACULA & XANDER IN WOLVES AT THE GATE

Buffy was meeting up with Riley because as told in issue #19 Riley was revealed to be the inside man and he told Twilight himself that she even got dressed up to see him.

Cordy and Anya were two of my favourites but Cordelia's death was so good for the show -- I loved how the PTB sent her as a message so she could pass the visions on and say her final goodbyes. Anya's death however was quite hard to watch -- the cut line that went straight down her was so awful. It was a good thing they killed her on the last episode because if she had died any other time in previous episodes I would be too upset. Anyway, about this issue, Willow has to be in it, she Buffy and Xander are the essense of the series, both on TV and in the comics. They started the show off and so they wouldn't die throughout it. That's my opinion anyway. Besides in #19 Buffy was in the past when she was sucked into the future so the Willow she killed was the future one because after that happened, Present Willow stepped through the portal and saved Buffy and they shared a moment where Buffy said she loved her.

In my opinion, Giles has been very suspicious this season throughout the comics, I believe that he could be Twilight or possibly working with him for a couple of reasons. These are some theories I think should happen if he was Twilight... 1. In "No Future For You" he has tried to get closer to Faith; trying to act as a friend. 2. I believe in the issues where it's about both of them he will manipulate her into believing Buffy is in the wrong and they must fight once more (love Faith & Buffy fights)!
That's kind of all my theories.
But... wouldn't it be cool if Oz was Twilight -- seeing as he turns into a werewolf when the moon rises and that the moon and all that other stuff is related to "Twilight" the word. I am really anxous to see what he'll bring to the table when he arrives -- don't get why Riley's the inside man, to me I thought "Riley's Twilight" or "If he's not he won't be in this continuation".
So I'm a little angry but I want to see what he's doing as the inside man.
**SORRY FOR ANY SPOILERS**

That's what I think triggered Joyce's tumor -- she's older than Buffy so she's lived longer with all of her childhood memories and her adult mermories -- when the monks added to those memories by putting Dawn in them it triggered it. I liked that scene when she's holding the plate with the pancakes on it and says something like "Who are you?" to Dawn before fainting -- it was as though the DAWN memories had been erased for a second, like her actual memories were fighting back. I still think that if JOYCE didn't die in season five the sixth season wouldn't be so dark; Dawn wouldn't have been so whiney seeing as she wasn't alone after Buffy's death; when Buffy came back she wouldn't turn her anger into the jones for SPIKE; and Giles would have been in the season more.

I don't think Cordelia ever came back after her so called "ascension" but if she did, the spell that Lorne did awakened the evil within -- so I guess ever since she became part demon it was bound to happen. You can all blame Doyle for this -- giving her the visions and all, lol. Nah, I wish he didn't get killed in season 1, he would've been a great character if he was more explored throughout the series.
