"Charmed" is a great series, but like a lot of people have said, nothing like Buffy and will not compare. But, the first three seasons are magnificent. As is seasons 4 and 5. But season six and seven it starts to get a bit bumpy and just "demon of the week" kind of show. Season 8 is an awesome season and had an amazing ending. So I guess you should watch the show, but not if you think its gonna be like Buffy. XD

In the fourth season of Angel, Skip had said that all their actions were being controlled, so to speak, that they were planned out/mapped out. In "To Shanshu in L.A" when the guy bumped into her and gave her all those visions, I rekon that that connected her to a new power. I believe that their actions weren't controlled before that but are after.
Think about it, Cordelia is Angel's connection to the Powers that Be and so if another connection was made they could control all their actions. In doing so, every that had happened to them from seasons 2-5 were being played out.
Also, another thought I had about Jasmine, also related to "To Shanshu in L.A" is that the connection made inside Cordy was Jasmine and that she was the one that had this connection to another power which was how that power could give her visions and stuff -- bare with me now. Jasmine is all about world peace and things like that and all the visions Cordy was having was the complete opposite. I rekon the PTB were trying to fight off the Jasmine possession inside of her but died out when Wesley did the chant to cure her.
Then, when Skip made her half demon, Jasmine grew inside of her, infecting her more. And, the longer she stayed in the HIGHER PLANE or whatever it was called more and more of the Cordelia side was being drained away -- thereinlies the whole not remembering anything, which she would have been better off with suiting my theory because when Lorne done the spell and she remembered everything, the last bit of Cordelia struggling to hold on inside was killed off and there was nothing left but Jasmine to ultimately give birth to itself.
One last thing that I think is perfect for Cordelia's return in the fifth season was taken out of the third was this...
Skip: If you go back inside your body, you won't wake up. You will lie there, unable to move, unable to speak, until the next vision hits you and then you will die.
Once Jasmine gave birth to itself, Cordelia's soul was put back, but she was human. She was unable to move, speak, and all she did was lie there in the hospital bed. When she got the vision to put Angel back on his path she was able to complete the mission following the vision but then she died.
Everything was being mapped out, right from the start, whether or not the writers intended it, or didn't, it all fits together like a puzzle -- I'm still hoping for a movie with a happy ending not just "Let's go to work!"

I was wondering, what did you all think was going to happen to Team Angel in their final moments before the screen turned completely black. Despite the new After the Fall continuation, what did you think was going to happen and what made you think it.
I thought that his final line "Let's get to work" was great for the finale but seeing it was the final season I always thought that they all died fighting -- I know its horrible but its what I could picture in my head.

Season One: 1x12 - Propecy Girl The entire last half of the episode where the massive fight begins and Cordelia's like "Somebody, HELP!" and the theme tune picks up and they go to battle. It is one of my favourite fight scenes ever not because of the action and stuff coz that was kind of slow paced but the way it was done was just amazing! Season Two: What's my Line? pt.2 Kendra and Buffy working together to fight off the police officer woman and Spike was nicely put together. When they swap and roll over each others back to get to the other person was awesome, i miss Kendra. Oh and again, with the rest of the gang the fights were slow paced but excellent anyway - Xander & Cordelia squishing bugs - Willow & Giles fighting off minions = AMAZING! Season Three: Graduation Day part 2 Students vs Mayor Richard Wilkins III - awesome battle, the first time I saw it I thought to myself, "okay, Buffy can't take this thing alone and if she does she'll most likely die!" and I began to panic. When all the students ripped off their coats and exposed their weapons to fend off the snake I was like" Ooh, things just got interesting!" Season Four: Primeval I only liked the part at the end when guns are firing and soldiers are getting killed in the background - all hell breaks loose. It was pretty cool. And when buffy runs out and starts punching and kicking and killing the demons I thought it got even better. I liked how (can't really remember which way it goes) when Buffy tackles Willow down as they get shot at, it was cool! Season Five: No Place like Home Buffy vs Glory (the first time) was awesome. Glory reminded me of a Cordelia like person (from season 1, anyway) and I thought that the series was lacking a character like that, season 4 did. And when they brang Glory into it with her funny yet sill remarks it always made me laugh. Props on the Buffy smashing into the wall - best part of the fight. "You're like a superhero ... can you fly?" Season Six: Bargaining When those demons approach the scooby gang after Buffy gets out of her grave ... the fight was pretty cool. "I'm a he-witch, a warlock, is it a warlock? That's right a warlock!" Xander always makes me laugh. Tara fighting was SWEET and Anya getting hurt always makes me laugh EXCEPT WHEN THEY KILLED HER OFF, jerks. But when Buffy gets up and finishes them all off that was when I thought it was the best of the season. Season Seven: Get it Done Without Buffy, the creature gets swapped for her and the scooby gang gets they're ass kicked. Spike gets thrown through the ceiling. Willow gets slashed across the face and goes hurling into the wall. Kennedy gets thrown away. Can't remember what happens to Xander but it was cool. And then when Spike had to finish it off to prove that he was still the killer he used to be, or still had that killer side inside of him, that was cool. Season Eight: The Long Way Home pt.4 "Sound off! Who's hurt? Stay calm dammit!" NO. PANIC! One of my most favourited scenes in the continuation of Buffy. SHe literally smacks a soldier over the head with her scythe I mean OUCH! That would kill. When she runs all over them I thought, lame, but then when we see all the dead and injured soldiers just lying about and her standing in the middle I knew that nothing in the series could top that. Sorry for writing so much, I couldn't choose between each season so decided I'll do an episode each for it.

Season Seven really did play on my emotions a lot. Some scenes in episodes I can't stand to watch anymore because they hurt so much to watch. The series finale "Chosen" was one of the worst. Wathcing Anya's clueless face as that bringer guy killed her was just heartbreaking.
All episodes envolving Willow tears makes me feel sad -- I don't cry or anything coz it takes a lot to do that but in "The Killer in Me" where she's talking to Kennedy ... this episode I sort of hated Kennedy for kissing Willow and I was liked PULL THE F#@!ING TRIGGER but now I like Kennedy coz of season 8.
But yeah, season seven was really sad.

The very first episode I saw was the one that got me hooked to the buffy series and that was "Lessons" - the seventh seasons' premiere. I remember my mum's friend loved the show and had taped it for my mum. I was only about 9 or 10 and wasn't allowed to watch it but when I looked over at the tv it was when Xander and the innocent girl with the dead puppy were being attacked by the giant worm demon. I was like THIS IS AWESOME. The other reasons why I got hookde on that first episode was because I instantly fell in love with the Anya character and thought it was cool seeing a hot blonde bashing up a vampire (which was Spike). Oh, and I knew Alyson Hannigan from other movies and so I thought I should keep watching it. That was the only episode I ever saw on television until they put the reruns on at midnight here in Australia about two years ago and I saw "Puppet Show" or something like that.

If they lay one hand on my Faith I swear to god -- I'm just kidding, lol. But I hope Faith lives, knowing Joss and how much he likes Eliza Dushku and the character Faith I'm betting she will live. I would seriously cry if Faith died. Giles is back!

So I guess it really is coming to an end. I'm going to miss Angel After the Fall as much as I did the actual series. This fifteenth issue was amazing even though I didn't think it was the best out of the series. Here is my review for it, which I wouldn't usually do, but it took a while to get this issue and so I want to review it anyway. ** SPOILERS BELOW ** So we start off with the end of all things, Illyria in the background and Angel injured. There is so much going on in this first page that when I was done reading it I came back to the start and began studying the pictures. I'm guessing that "It all ends with a girl" does mean Fred (Illyria) and so when he said it all began with a girl in the first issue meant her too. To be honest I didn't care for the fight scenes in this issue, they were a bit unnecessary for me in the sense that I wasn't really interested -- I mainly was up in my seat scared for every characters life **cough** SPIKE **cough** thank god he's still alive. Some of the art just really pissed me off and I have questions at the end about some things because of it. I liked the images Illyria was putting into Angel's head, trying to show him why she wants to end it all, to save him, just like Fred would want to save him. I think the artist draws Angel a HELL OF A LOT BETTER when he's a vampire. My most favourite part is when you see what's left of Team Angel as they stand In that one line, ready to end it all. It was really touching to me, especially how it stood out better with the epic background image. The look on Connor's face when the flaming sword goes straight through him is painful to look at, reminds me of Anya when she got killed in Buffy season 7 - it's a sort of clueless look. And now i hate GUNN. I literally hate him, I wish I could punch him in the face and teach him a lesson about KILLING PEOPLE!!! Grrrr. Moving on, Angel not killing Gunn pissed me off, I thought to myself "If it were my son, I'd jam the freaking axe into him and dust the freak!" I mean this issue is just so heart breaking and it made me angry after seeing Gunn do that and Angel not avenging his son. But, at this point in time I thought, nah, Connor can't die, he's part of the whole PTB plan like they said in the series. I loved seeing the images of Fred with Wesley and Spike's memories so that they could destroy Illyria, which I think was the best way to kill her off. And now I can never turn to the last page of that comic because the look on all their faces when they realise Connor's gone is just devastating. Room for Improvement 1. I think the likeness of the characters in this issue is just poor, Angel doesn't look like him, Spike looks NOTHING like him, Wesley looks the same he always has in the comic, but Lorne and Gunn looked about right. 2. A bit longer -- it seemed short but I think thats coz I liked it so much. 3. I think Angel should have been more emotional about Connor's death -- I mean its his son and all. 9/10

I absolutely loved this standalone issue, really got me worked up after reading it, I'm still a bit jittery now. I loved how we start off with Buffy slaying all the demons with no one backing her up, no one there to help her -- making her feel even more alone. I like the fact that she's too tired to come up with any new puns and that she probably hasn't sleeped this entire comic series. I rekon if anything was going to kill her it would be the lack of sleep.
Moving on ... A very nice Buffy and Xander scene as they talk about Dawn and the whole giant robot monkey thing, something very Joss Whedon like (even though its not written by him).
The drawings are totally awesome and made me laugh with some of the funny expression the characters had. It's good that this issue wasn't dark like the rest of the season so far and I was happy that we saw Giles. It's always good to see Angel again but Buffy was slightly - how can i put this - a total bitch towards him just because she wanted to act like she did after the episode "Angel" or during it, whatever.
The fights scenes were short but perfectly done, the stretched out panels were impressive, and the way the dream ended was hilarious. BUffy screaming out "OMIGOD! Look at you, will! You're all magicky and gay no!" made me laugh and the final full page panel made me think about the final episode of SEASON SEVEN where Dawn asks "yeah Buffy, what are we gonna do now?"
I give this issue an 8 out of 10 for these reasons.
1. The way the characters were written stayed true to the first season of BUffy and how they're language was.
2. A good laugh.
3. Last of all the way it played with my emotions, each and every one of them.
In my opinion this would have been a great four issue series story arc filled with the animated BUffy like style. I would have enjoyed it as a longer story arc as I feel as though some of it may have been a bit short cut - like the last page of the animated bit - it would have been cool if she got to the party and interacted more with her friends - and last of all, the snyde remark to Cordelia ...
Now people have said that they think it was offensive and mean to her character and Cordelia is my fav character on Angel, the death remark was to cheer Willow up. I saw this snyde remark as the way they used to react to Cordelia's insults with their three - way friends bond, this one just being Buffy and WIllow. So please stop with the, "What a bitch" and stuff because it really wasn't that mean.
8/10.

And I think even if he's not twilight the biggest part he could play in it, going on malsad's theory, he could gather a large army of werewolves and help BUffy with the big battle. other than that, he's Twilight, lol.

As of just recently I have come to the conclusion that Oz is Twilight. I have several reasons for saying this and will go into some detail. Okay, my guess is because of the symbol, right... right?
Twilight = Just as day is turning into night, its still.
Oz = Werewolf, needs night + full moon to become one.
But remember how he went away and learned how to control it and then when it happened again he ran off and did the same thing? My guess is that Oz will be feature in the 25 - 30 arc or whatnot and get someone to take over as Twilight in pretending that its them -- then as they stop the fake twilight and take off the mask it reveals to be Riley.
Anyway, that doesn't matter - I think that the future Buffy went to in time of your life was the biggest CLICK! Ok, Willow is evil because her best friend, Buffy, was killed. I believe that she blames herself for Buffy's death because of her relationship wih Oz. Oz (in that time) had killed Buffy and Willow couldn't deal with the feeling of betrayal!
"It's not about who dies, its about who kills them!"
Freaky, huh? Now I know I'm probably wrong but if Oz is supposed to play a big part in this thats what it would be about, his BIG PART IN ALL OF THIS. If not I will probably be a bit disapointed.
Last of all please try and give me some feedback, I don't want to sound completely bonkas!

It just keeps getting better and better! I can't believe how much suspense I am in when I read these issues its as though I'm watching it on television again. First of all I am excited about the fact that not everyone will survive; reminds me of all of the shows of Joss Whedon's I have watched where someone dies in the end. I am literally scared for how epic this battle is going to be as each issue has just been one rollercoster ride after the other. I mean that in a good way. I am completely upset that GWEN DIED and that her body was just lying there on the rooftop, motionless. I would have really loved the pevious issue more if Illyria did reverse time and the epic battle would show us the fight between all the demons in the alleyway - except this time they did something to prevent it all from going to hell. I hope Angel isn't the only one left standing in this issue because that would just break my heart to see something happen to Team Angel - what's left of it anyway. Anyway, this is what I hope happens in the battle: 1. When Illyria said the whole thing about ending existence I want that to be prevented and Illyria to be cut down like there's no tomorrow. 2. I want an Angel and Connor fighting side by side part where they share puns and a fatherly son bond. 3. Gunn to be slain by Spike seeing as they shared such a bond in season five. I was thinking Spike could say something like "Rest in peace Charlie-boy" or something like that after killing him. Last of all... 4. A happy ending. The timeslot thing gets ripped open at the end and they stand in the exact spot where they had this epic battle but back in the real world. Plus, I hope Angel becomes a vampire again because the characters are treating him like crap every now and then just because he's human!

I haven't really posted anything about Angel: After the Fall here on Slayalive but this cover art really filled my head with ideas. Now I haven't read much of Angel lately but I have a weird feeling Angel's going to die in this one. Here are my first thoughts after seeing the cover: 1. Angel dies -- He sacrifices himself to turn L.A back to the way it should be. Just as he dies he waves Team Angel goodbye. 2. Angel lives- the cover art explains that its coming to an end and its time to say goodbye - there inlies the whole waving part. 3. Another death theory - When L.A goes back to the way it should be, he's a vampire again, standing in the alleyway with the sunlight beaming down on him. Bursts into flames. 4. One last lives one - the cover art just explains to us the struggle between him being a vamp and him being a human, what he wants and what he don't wants. Happy ending bad ending. Opposites and how they attract. Vampire = strength, Human = Redmption & No more Powers that Be. These are just theories, tell me what you think because I don't want to sound like a rambling moron. lol I LOVE the whole Illyria thing that happened to her. Really good story. If the stories continuing are called AFTERMATH then I believe that Angel is going to die in AFTER THE FALL due to the fact that the series isn't called ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL but if they are then never mind. Anyway, Angel should have a peaceful death and the whole human shanshu thing may lead him into a better place.

I'm not sure if anyones said this already but I was going over the comic and I found something very weird.
It said "Doyle" on the bottom of a sign but on the sign it said "Coming Soon".
Sorry if there were any spoilers.

I don't think of it to be that rushed but I can see how it is possible that it could look that way. The episode that made me feel as though it wasn't rushed was the one where they kiss and she turns into Warren. She states how Tara never left her and was always by her side. That when they kissed she went away and thats why she turned into him. This told me it wasn't rushed because in the previous episodes when she was with Kennedy, she always felt she as though she was betraying Tara and so never made a move.
Kennedy rocks!

Now I know this is out there and this isn't my number one best guess at who Twilight really is but has anyone else thought that maybe the clone of Buffy is behind that horrid mask?
Think about it...
1. She knows all of Buffy's moves. 2. She knows who Buffy's been heartbroken by and/or still has feelings for.
And its just things like that that really got to me. Okay, I know that the way Twilight is drawn gives off a masculine figure but I have just recently noticed that in a couple of panels where Twilight appears there is a slight feminine form to him (or her). I was going over this yesterday, literally studdying the way the character moved about in the issue where Twilight smashes the crap out of Buffy and seeing as its a clone or whatnot, it would have the same memories, fighting tactics, abilities, strength and in the right hands, could be trained to be an even better fighter. And, seeing as the clone is with the Immortal, she could have gotten an energy boost or something (even though the immortal doesn't like magic doesn't mean he's never used it)
Please tell me if you think i'm crazy or not because i think this would be cool Buffy vs Buffy!

They should so make a... Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8 - The Video Game PLAYABLE CHARACTERS: Buffy Summers
Xander Harris Willow Rosenberg Dawn Summers Faith Lehane Rupert Giles Satsu Renee Dracula Melaka Fray The Opening Level: You play as Buffy Summers as you have just landed on the rooftop of the castle, two playable slayers behind you (for multiplayer). You have to find an entrance and get inside. After you've done that, you are to fend off three giant demons with long arms and an apetite to kill! Once you've offed the demons, a movie part will play introducing the game with opening credits as of such. Level 1: The Dreamscape You play as Buffy Summers as you're stuck in her dream. A movie part is before this that shows how she's in the dream but that's not the point. You have ETHAN RAYNE'S voice in the background guiding you through the level and teaching you new moves as of such. The enemies you face in the dreamscape level are ghost like images that can be easily taken out, they're put in there to give off the dream like world. Those ghost like enemies are the Master, Adam, Glory, Uber vamps, and random vamps. No weapson required. As Ethan guides you through this level you get riddles to solve and other sort of obstacles you need to complete to get out of the dream world. At the end of the level, you come across a giant ghost-like Mayor in the form of the snake as this is your boss for the level. Throughout the level you pick up parts that in the end create a flamethrower which you use to fight him off. Level Two: Like a Wicca Scorn In this level you play as three main characters; Renee being the first. At the start of the level, you are with other slayers (for multiplayer) as you face off killer zombies that are trying to destroy command central. After you pass through several and collect the first shard of three to weaken Amy, your time as Renee is over. Your then Xander who is in comman central, fending off the zombies that have gotten through. You have a shard of the crystal ball to collect too once you've gotten to a certain point. Last of all, you play as Willow in a mid air battle; versing the boss of the level - Amy. She is carrying the last of the shard and you must use magical spells of sorts to fend her off; fireballs, shields, force fields, electricity, shock waves etc. Kennedy's voice is in the backgroudn guiding you through her moves. Once you've injured Amy enough and have retrieved the shard from her, the level is over. Level 3: The Long Way Home Willow has been captured and it is your job as the slayer to get her back. Make your way through the destruction of CIA labs as you can play as Buffy or Satsu. You fight angry soldiers, injured soldiers, weapon wielding soldiers, and gun wielding soldiers. There are several items you need before getting there such as keycards and DNA stuff like that to get passed doors but once you get to the end of the level, you come across General Voll who is the boss of the level. He has control of larger weapons and an army of soldiers. You have to defeat the army and destroy the weapons before you can take the General out in a simple hit (its harder than it sounds). Level 4: Undercover and Five by Five You play as Faith as you are undercover at a royal party as your job is to get in and out as quickly as you can. At the start of this level you have to keep an eye on Genieve and follow her without being seen. Then after you follow her outside a small cutscreen movie happens and you get picked up by giant creatures. The cutscreen stops. You now have to fend off three giant rock trolls with objects that surround you. You on the ground and mobile but the trolls are up in the air and are throwing stuff down at you. When you dodge long enough, they jump down for a breather and that's when you can attack. Once finishing them all off yuo've completed the level. Level 5: Slayer vs Slayer vs Slayer At the start of this level, you play as Buffy as you find yourself in a life and death battle against Genieve. There is one sword and it can easily be snatched back and forth out of each others hands. You pretty much have to weaken her to the point of death before a cutscreen appears. In the cutscreen Faith screams "Noo!" and leaps out at you. As you smash out the window the game returns. You are falling and button combinations appear on the screen, get them right and you land in the water safely, get them wrong, you miss the pool and die. Once landed in the pool safely, you come across a combat scene with Faith. You have to fend her off to get her health low too just like with Genieve. Only this time, Faith has a drowning technique which is when she holds you underwater. When this happens, button combinations appear and you have to do them to stop yourself from drowning. Level 6: No Future For You You play as Faith & Giles in this sixth level of the season eight video game - first up, Faith. Single handedly fend off Genieve using multiple slayer moves and combinations. This boss is quite hard and strong but you can defeat her. A cutscreen appears when you've weakened Geneivel showing her being hurled across the screen and landing on an exe -- dying. When it ends, you play as Giles. As Giles, you're as flexable as the other playable characters. You can use magical spells which is instructed to you by Buffy. The aim of this part of the level is to fight off the warlock and retrieve his book of spells. After that you play once more as Faith to fight off remaining trolls and ghouls. Level 7: A Beautiful Sunset Play as Buffy as you roam the cemetery with Satsu. In this mission you literally roam the cemtery -- going through every access point possible in search of some objetive (could be anything). You go through the sewer tunnels and fight zombies, vampires, the whole en cha lada. But when you reach the end of the level, you come to a sudden stop. A cutscreen happens to where Buffy and Satsu share the feelings about the whole lip gloss thing. They go in for a kiss when BANG! Satsu gets knocked out. Custscreen ends. You don't have much time to spare as Twilight is very quick in movement. You learn more slayer moves in this one now that you have your scythe and that your facing a big boss. You have to trick him into smashing through one of the churches to slow him down long enough. While he's down, you attack. Cutscreen: half health he grabs you and takes you up in he air. In the final part of the level, you have to try and steer him through objects in the air and once he's down to a quarter health, you land. Cutscreen: Buffy lying on the ground injured really badly and Twilight ready for more. Now, you have to do the finishing move which is a combination of several buttons, resulting with your scythe going for his groin. Cutscreen: he grabs the scyth and stops Buffy, telling her he already knows that move; then in one final swing her knocks you out. I'll finishing writing the other ideas for the levels after, I'm too tired right now.

Name of Trade Paper Back:
I assume the first TPB would be called after #20 "After these messages..." seing as there all stand alones. Cover of Trade Paper Back: I would picture something like "The Long Way Home" cover except something like this... It's a half and half like cover (similar to the NFFY cover). One one half you have Buffy, Willow and Xander clearly seen ready for battle (not as close up as all the other TPB covers). Also on that side Kennedy and Satsu are visable but in a crowd of several random slayers. On the other side, you'd have Simon standing in the centre of her army - she has all the-now popular vampires in her army with her other rogue slayers standing there two. Standing in the middle would be Harmony who hasn't decided what side she's on yet. One more cover idea. A simple cover -- another NFFY like cover except one of Buffy is normal and the other is animated. I would like a completely animated version of the TPB but I don't think it would happen.

I'm hoping that Simone will live after this issue because I want to see how she would go up against Faith. I mean Faith used to believe everything that Simone believes in now -- so Faith can either talk Simone out of doing the wrong thing because of her own experience or they will have a groosome fight to the death.
Me personally, I'd rather my first idea because that way Faith won't feel like a villain, Buffy didn't kill anyone nor did Faith, and we wouldn't have a repeat of No Future For You.
I CAN'T WAIT!!
