Could you vague that up a bit? I suppose you mean the oracles in Angel Season one? Is that correct? I can't answer the questions because it has been so long since I have seen that episode but I would assume it has more to do with the progression of plot than anything else. You could also see it as them showing us how much power that demon had, that not even the Oracles could protect themselves from him.

Buy it...you won't regret it!
If you can get the entire series box set you should...I think Amazon had it for a REALLY good price, like $69.00...but I'm not sure what it is now.

I think a Fray movie could be possible with the new arrangement between Dark Horse and Universal (It was Universal..right?)...that's not to say it will happen, but there is a possibility there.

Tara: Your insect reflection represents your insignificance in terms of karmic cycle. Anya: It's still not funny.

How could anyone rate seasons 2 or 3 on that list! Oh well, to each their own.
I find it hard to rank any as the worst season since I think all of them have great aspects to them. I voted season 1 just because the physical quality of it is not up to par with the rest of the show, it's mainly the music and lighting that I don't like in it. I would love to see a new release with a new score...I think that would completely up the value and feel of that season.

And your #2 point is not how I understood it to be...and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Joss requested Bryan Lynch because he liked what he did with Spike: Asylum.

I really think if Joss was faced with the possibility of a Movie he would tie it into the comics the best he could making it either before the events of season 8 or taking his idea for season 9 and making it a movie to come out right after the comics come to a conclusion. If you think about time frame of writing the movie, finding a filming time that works for all the principals, filming the movie, and editing it together it would stand to reason that the movie wouldn't be complete until about that time anyway....then he could come up with a new idea for the next series of comics to take place after the movie! :-D
And I have to add that I agree with Mikey; what makes something cannon is that the creator says that it is so. Whether he/she writes it themselves or they have someone else write it...or I think even in hindsight they decide that something written should be cannon they could say so.

I would love a Tales of the Slayer series with each episode being the story of a new slayer. Some of them might be 2 or more episodes depending on the size of the story. It would be cool to bring in some old characters on occasion too like Angel, Darla, Spike, Dru, The Master, Kakistos, The Mayer, Anya, Nikki Wood, the Chinese Slayer...any character that has a history before the "Buffy era"

Are there TPB's of the whole Tales Of The Slayers and Tales Of The Vampires available? Also, how many issues in each? Thanks. Yes...and I think there are 5 issues for each...but I could be mistaken since I only have the TPBs for them...thus never collecting them individually. Tales of the Slayer is great with a nice opening written by Joss concerning the First Slayer and bookended with a nice little story concerning Fray.

Oh great they're about to [censored!] up one of the show's most perfect exits. I get bringing back characters because laziness and it tickles the lamer fans but how about ones that didn't clearly play out and die on screen? What you said really frustrated me! I for one hated how Cordy was treated in season 4 and although her exit in season 5 kind of redeemed her character and gave her a proper ending I would love to see her come back in some form. I would not want her to come back as a living human but maybe some "power that be" where she had some kind of influence and tilted the scale so that Angel et all had a fighting chance. Besides her "death" was very ambiguous. Cordy was in the entire episode as a physical, living being and then she disappeared, there is no reason why she could not come back in the form she did then. I'm not Lame and I am not a Lame fan so [censor] off! :xp: If that was to harsh I'm sorry and I usually like what you have to say but you really hit a nerve with me on that comment.

I like the Variant cover too. I would Love it if it wasn't for Gwen's pose...what is up with that stance?! She looks like she is walking to work on muscle tone in her legs.

Yeah because Dollhouse, Buffy, and Runaways isn't taking up enough of his time. Maybe the guy at your comic shop should look into real news instead of making things up based off his own fan boy dreams.

I went to my comic shop to pick this up today and he said that his whole stock of them came damaged! Not one of them was in any condition to sell. He said the box was destroyed and had foot prints all over it. He said he would have replacements in next Friday.
Damn UPS people! You would think that they would care about the contents of the packages they deliver. What horrible customer service.

I thought it was Fred that he was talking about. Buffy just didn't make sense, Wolfram and Hart didn't take her away, and Cordy's demise was due to Jasmine. That leaves Fred as the only girl that Wr&H would have taken from him. I think Angel really felt like he needed to protect her because he rescued her from Pylea, therefore her death would have really impacted him and he would see it as a direct result of him signing up with Wr&H.

Also how did Angel talk to the dragon? Since when can dragons talk? I don't want to be the one to burst your bubble...but Dragons don't really exist. This kind of gives storytellers a lot of liberty when writing for them.

Didn't Joss say somewhere that Angel, Spike, and Illyria all survive the battle and Gunn get's turned into a vampire? I thought that was where he said he was going to go with Season 6.
