Has it been confirmed or even talked about how many more seasons of Buffy we can look forward too? Is this supposed to be the last season? Or are they just going to keep continuing it until they finally end it?
Also, new to the forum. :sprint:

Has there been any mention on issue names or new arcs after the end of "Wolves at the Gate"? I think that arc ends in June right? So has there been anything said about the issue coming out after June? :vampirebite: :jump:

Why does everybody love the thought of Bander?! I personally am repulsed by the thought of Buffy and Xander even making out to tell you the truth.
Satsu probably does save Buffy, who knows B might actually spend a one night stand with Satsu, but I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT BUFFY TO switch sides!
And I don't think that he would give in to who ended magic so easily, maybe he's tricking us, do it does seem most likely obviously to be Buffy, thought I hope it isn't anytime soon.
I wonder if Season Eight which will take place over a couple years will take place in the same year? Are they gonna transition to Season 9 next year and so on?

Twilight obviously wants both sides to obliterate eachother. He wants the supernatural out of this realm.
Buffy can handle this dude, she defeated a hellgod, blew up an Old One, stopped 6 Apocolypses...should i go on?...

Had Joss explained the whole afterlife dimension inn BtVS, i guess there wouldn't be no mystery or theories - and that would spoil the fun. i think JW will go back to anya and some other dead characters once more - it might be cool to have a one-shot completely centered on the dead characters and their fate in the afterlife - think of anya cordelia wes darla tara fred all together in one comic! I thought that would be pretty amazing myself. I have this mental image of Anya, Cordy, Wes, Tara, and Doyle being in a parallel universe created to house dead souls that is rather a lot like a situational comedy that never gets canceled. I imagine it's a lot like "Seinfeild," "Will and Grace," or "Friends." Nobody goes to work or fights vampires, they all just sit around and have coffee and speculate about the nature of their local restaurants or reccent boyfriends or that girl with the weird teeth. Nothing bad ever happens to them that isn't funny, and they don't remember ever having to deal with any problems more painful than spilling champaign in an embarrassing place in their custom made bridesmaid outfit moments before they were suppose to walk out for the wedding. I am probably the only one that feels this way, but I would love to know what happened to Knox when he reached the other side. Although I personally feel that Illyria is all that is left of Fred, I question Illyria's ability to gauge what happened to her soul. Regardless of the location of Fred's soul, she does live on. In the world of Beowulf, Fred is more alive than Illyria. Fred is immortal so long as someone remembers her, and with vampires for mourners, she has a good chance at living forever, baring vampheimers and pointy sticks. My impractical dream is still for Darla to meet Halfrek in a flashback, but then Darla is a personal favorite of mine. By the way, I have a strong feeling that where ever Darla is now, it isn't Hell. Although it seems that is where vampires generally go when they die, Darla's post death encounter with her son makes me believe she was in a better place, one from which she could watch Connor's life. I say this partly because both Spike and Angel have been to a hell dimension or something a lot like one, Angel for a very long period of time, and she showed none of the symptoms they did. She was there for what, two seasons? And she showed nothing but concern for her son when she was returned to earth for a short time. Maybe that shows that vampires don't actually have to go there, that perhaps her reformation had been her redemption? If that's true, have Spike and Angel also been recovered for the hereafter? Or did Darla shanshu, in her own way? All in fun, of course. I love playing with that prophesy. Anybody got a theory on whether we'll be seeing a shanshu in season 6? It's really confusing about Darla. She died technically with a soul (even though she was actually sharing her baby's soul) and then she came to Connor, maybe that was the human Darla. Who the hell knows besides Joss? Really don't think there will be shanshu-ing it up in Season 6. Angel signed his Shanshu away in blood And, Spike is retired.

Knowing Buffy writers they're trying to make us think that it's someone we'd least expect, but they'll probably turn it around and make it someon we never thought of, who is working for someone we least expected who is under the control of someone we never thought of, or...I have no idea what i'm talking about, all I know is is that we're most likely in for a surprise...
so my top choices:
Dawn Giles Willow Xander Riley Buffy herself

The First would not dare to reappear anytime soon with 1800 Slayers all around the World. And aren't Faith and Robin technically still battling with The First in Cleveland? I mean they are on a Hellmouth. But that doesn't technically mean they are fighting The First.
The whole reason The First even mobilized is because Buffy died and was ressurected, still dont get that though.

Maybe the Seers at the Coven in Britain couldn't find ALL the potentials, hell, they couldn't even tell that Amanda was living right in Sunnydale the entire time and never even came up on their radar.
And, The First wouldn't resurface any time soon. The whole reason it attacked at all in Season 7 is because of the glitch in the Slayer line after Buffy was ressurected. After being collapsed upon and there being 1800 Slayers around the world, The First would not EVEN attack until the time presented itself again.

I would like to think that every two issues is an episode. and the stand alones are episodes on their own, so it would go Episode one: Long Way Home (1 & 2) Episode two: Long Way Home (3&4) Episode three: The Chain Episode four: No Future For You (1&2) Episode five: No Future For You (3&4) Episode six: Anywhere But Here Episode seven:A Beautiful Sunset and so on. You really think The Chain would be 1 whole episode? Maybe half an hour.

If you were to writie Season 8 of Buffy. What would you do? How would you do it? I don't mean based off of the Official Season 8 comics. I mean of your own ideas, and arcs. What would your season 8 be like? I...myself. Am going to be writing two un-canonical versions of Season 8. One that continues on from the novel "Queen of the Slayers" and one that continues from "Dark Congress".

Buffy stated there are 10 Slayer Cells in "Long Way Home". We already know 5 of them:
Xander & Buffy: Scotland
Giles: England
Andrew: Southern Italy
Robin & Faith (formerly): Cleveland
Rona: (Well she locked up her squad in a room with a vamp, never mentioned where they were stationed, I'm guessing above ground from where Buffy Decoy # 2 was stationed in The Chain)
Robson: That Watcher who was attacked by a Bringer in Season 7, that was saved by Giles. I'm guessing he's still alive
I'm also guessing that Kennedy leads a squad of Slayers in the Himalayas or Brazil wherever she and Willow were.
There's probably more Watchers out therre who weren't at the Watcher's Headquarters when it exploded. Not all Watchers beside Giles, Robson, and Roger Wyndham-Pryce could've been there.
any other ideas? :scared:

Angel Season 6
David Boreanaz Amy Acker Vincent Kartheiser Jenny Mollen J. August Richards and James Marsters as “Spike”
Fade in:
Months have passed since the battle in the alley. Gunn is dead, Angel is in a hell dimension created by the Senior Partners. Wes seems to be there too. In this place they are tortured over and over again. Plus the firm is recovering from the fight with Angel and his team by opening the offices up again. Spike and Illyria are the only ones that have escaped the grasp of Wolfram & Hart. These two have set up shop in the old Hyperion (which has been protected by the Powers) continuing to fight the good fight and find a way to save Angel. Nina returns to town to find Connor waiting for her with a message from Angel. Just as things seem to be cooling down after the fight a band of vampires start killing the homeless and poor and Spike and Illyria are on the hunt for them. When they do find them they are in for the shock of their lives…well undead lives. • Vincent Kartheiser (Connor) returns a regular this Season. Jenny Mollen (Nina) is added to the opening credits. Alexis Denisof (Wesley) and Mercedes McNab (Harmony) have been taken off of the Opening credits.
Broken Wings: When Spike and Illyria come across the band of vampires they find they are being led by Gunn, who is now a vampire. While dealing with the news about Gunn, Connor and Nina show up to lend a hand in with AI. Angel and Wes try to find a way to escape their torture realm when the Senior Partners step in and change everything and it’s not for the best.
How Have You Been: Angel fears the worst when he believes Wesley is beginning to crack in the hell dimension. Nina and Connor find Spike and Illyria and confront them about letting Angel be taken away by Wolfram & Hart. Soon an old “connection” returns looking for shelter and a home and only has one place to go, Spike’s doorstep. Gunn is visited by a lawyer with a job offer he can’t refuse. • Mercedes McNab (Harmony) returns in this episode of Angel. She is no longer a regular.
Time’s Up and Out: Buffy visits L.A. along with Dawn and the Groosalugg, with the Orb of Masselo which they have tweaked to open the dimension and let Angel out of W&H’s grasp. Buffy confronts Spike about not ever contacting her when he was resurrected. The Groosalugg learns the worst when Spike tells him of his princess’ (Cordelia’s) death. Dawn acquaints herself with Nina and even Illyria and help them out when Gunn, who is now human, immortal, and the CEO of Wolfram & Hart, sends a group of sorcerers to the Hyperion (Where they can’t enter) to stop them from doing the ritual to bring Angel back. After a battle with The Sorcerers, Dawn is finally able to cast the ritual to release Angel, but Angel refuses to leave without Wesley, but Wes is unable to leave, and tells him he must go back to fighting the good fight, and Angel reluctantly leaves the hell dimension. After a reunion with Buffy, his son, and his team, Angel goes to W&H to confront Gunn, who blames Angel for his turning, and is determined to cripple him, The Powers that Be, and his efforts. • This episode takes place after the Buffy (alt.) Season 8 episode “Piece of Me” and before “Fast Break”. This is Buffy’s first appearance on the show since the Season 1 episode “Sanctuary”, Groo’s first appearance since the Season 3 Finale, and Dawn’s first appearance on the show. While I was Away Angel returns to the team but not everyone is happy about this. Spike and Illyria blame him for the loss in the alley. Connor and Nina wonder why he even took on the Black Thorn in the first place. Meanwhile in Los Angeles a soul stealing demon is attacking children all over the city. Can the team put aside their issues in order to save the day? • J. August Richards (Gunn) does not appear in this episode. Common Ground With the return of Angel and the upcoming full moon Nina is under major stress. So she decides to have a girls night with Illyria (who takes on Fred’s form) to try and cool off. But their girls’ night ends when Nina nearly kills a girl in a disagreement at a bar. Fearful that she may not be able to control the beast within Nina reaches out for help and Angel knows just who to call, his old pal, Oz. Meanwhile the rest of the team decides to follow up on Gunn. But when they find Gunn’s vamped up gang they find them stalking Anne, under Gunn’s orders. • Seth Green (Oz) guest stars in this episode, this is Oz’s first appearance on the show since the Season 1 episode “Into the Night” Tales of Nights Past With Team Angel back together they find a moments peace to reflect on the night in the alley months ago. Spike and Illyria fill Angel and the other on what happened after Angel and Gunn were taken away and how they made it alive. Angel then tells the gang about the hell dimension that he was trapped in and how he was just let go. Angel takes Nina out and explains his actions and attitude when he sent her away. Gunn, back at W&H, is called into a meeting in the White Room, with the new conduit for the Senior Partners, Lindsay to discuss their plans for Angel. Watch Your Back: Angel tries to protect Anne from Gunn and his minions of vamps led by his new assistant, Harmony. And keep the homeless people Anne’s trying to get shelter from being demonized by Wolfram and Hart’s necromancer. Honor thy Father: Angel wants Connor to stop helping him out, and go to Berkeley like he originally planned. Connor’s father comes and blames Angel for getting his son into this “paranormal crap”. He then goes to Wolfram and Hart, in order to get them to erase Connor’s memories of his powers, the supernatural, and Angel. With Tribulations: The Powers put Angel and Spike to the test to see if they’re still the champions they need. We see more flashbacks of their past lives as the “dynamic dead duo”. Connor, Nina, and Illyria finally re-open Angel Investigations for business and they are hired by a woman who believes she is being attacked by her past life. Stroll Down: Team Angel worries when they notice that Illyria is becoming more and more like their dear, Fred. Illyria grieves for Wesley and decides to recede more into his beloved, Fred. Head On: Angel plans on sneaking into Wolfram and Hart, in order to get Wesley’s file in order to release him from the Hell dimension. While, Angel is doing that, Gunn prepares to break down the barriers of the Hyperion and savagely assault Angel Investigations. The Walls have Mouths: After Angel’s sneak into Wolfram & Hart offices, he discovered possible evidence that The Senior Partners and The Powers that Be might be one in the same. Team Angel do work to rebuild the Hyperion, but they fear Gunn and his team left something behind that wants to suck them into the walls, literally. Sing, Sing a Song: Gunn calls in a Siren with the ability to submit a sonic belch that will end hybrid life (IE: Vampires) in the city. Angel frantically searches for Lorne who is the only one who might be able to stop The Siren. The Return of the Fellowship: Team Angel discovers that Gunn is recruiting for new members of the currently in-production rebuilt Circle of the Black Thorn. The Hunt: Angel and the Team frantically search for the new recruited members of the Black Thorn and try to find their weaknesses and take them out. Full Circle: Spike sees an old gauntlet in the basement at the Hyperion and puts it on out of curiosity. He is possessed by a new member of the Black Thorn, he passes it on to Connor, and so on and so forth, and soon Spike, Connor, and Nina are possessed by the Black Thorn and Angel and Illyria must save them, or be forced to kill them. Heart Burn: Angel and Illyria take on their own team.
To be continued

SEASON 9 (2004-2005)
Sarah Michelle Gellar Nicholas Brendan Michelle Tratchtenberg Mark Lutz Freddie Prinze Jr. and Alyson Hannigan as “Willow”
Descent In the beginning of the episode, Buffy and Pike are chasing three vampires around the city and they easily take care of them. Then they begin to make out, revealing that they are in a “loose relationship”. Buffy then returns to her apartment and reveals in narration that she misses her sister, and the gang, she goes to sleep and gets a vision about a fog, The Scythe, ancient ruins, Willow sleeping, a couple that we can’t really see and an army of Slayers. Then we see Willow descending from the sky looking dormant as she falls into the hands of The Groosalugg. Xander wakes up in a castle in Athens, Greece to find Giles and Dawn waiting for him. As they go for a walk in the ruins of an ancient temple, Giles and Dawn tell Xander that a Great and Awesome power had recently arrived in Athens and he needs to prepare his Slayers for whatever’s coming, they are shocked The Groosalugg taking care of a still comatose Willow. Buffy gets a call from Dawn, and tells Pike she’s heading right to Greece to meet up with the others and tells him that he doesn’t have to follow her and should stay there with their Slayers. • Freddie Prinze Jr. becomes a regular and is added to the Opening Credits, and Mark Lutz (The Groosalugg), originally an Angel character is now a regular. Fathom: Xander and Dawn try to convince Groo that Willow is their friend, and that they should take her to their castle, but when he feels that he should continue to watch after her, a slayer comes in and decides it’s a waste of time trying to talk to him so she grabs Willow and runs back to the castle with Xander and Dawn following right after them. Groo follows them and prepares to fight the Slayers and take down the castle to get Willow back because he believes she’s his new “princess” sent to him by The Powers That Be. And, while Giles tries to find how it can be possible that Willow is back in their dimension, Buffy travels to Greece to find everyone on her flight killed by some unseen force, and turned into zombies, she must take care of them and call Pike to get one of their mystics to teleport her to the castle before she goes down with the plane. But, who magickally killed the passengers, and why’d they try to kill Buffy Welcome, One and…: Buffy is teleported to the castle right in front of Groo and gets punch into a wall. Buffy and The Groosalugg fight and are stopped by an incorporeal Willow. Willow convinces The Scoobies that Groo is one of them, and they should welcome him into the group, because he’s going to help them in an upcoming battle. She astral projects back in her sill sleeping body, as Dawn continues in trying to wake her up. Buffy has an emotional reunion with her sister and her friends, and she tells them about the Zombie attack and her prophetic dreams as another slayer (The one who saved Willow, named Raven) says she dreamed some of the same thing. She goes to rest and finds Pike waiting in her room, and tells her, “You’re not the boss of me, I can follow the girl of my dreams anywhere I want, DAMNIT”. They continue in embracing each other. Meanwhile, The Big Bad of our season, or at least joined with the Big Bad, is revealed to be Ethan Rayne and Amy who reveal they are working with someone and can’t wait “to break their little secrets”. Piece of Me: Amy and Ethan Rayne continue to try and break through Buffy’s success and the secrets of The Slayers and their future as they send a soul eating banshee to The Slayer’s Castle who can possess anyone and anything. Fast Break: Buffy, Pike, and Xander attempt to make contact with The Powers that Be in order to finally get some answers on why Willow is back and why she won’t physically wake up. Dawn makes a connection with Groo as they train the new recruited Slayers. While You Were Sleeping: The Powers are finally able to wake Willow up. She now feels and knows everything Supernatural. She knows that Amy is in Greece and summons her to the castle as the Slayers trap her. They want answers, and yet she says she doesn’t have them, and Willow tries to tap into her mind with no avail, but things really get heavy when after the whole day of questioning her, Amy’s brain is completely blown out of her head by an unseen force. • This shows some references to the first three seasons as the Scoobies conference in The Castle’s Library, some things never change. • This ep. Marks the death of Amy Madison, a character who has been on the show since the third episode of the first season. On the Road Again: The Scoobies are back together again, when Buffy, Xander, and Willow follow a trail of brutal killings and vampire turnings ever since they got to Greece. Dawn must serve as referee as Pike and Groo fight over differences on how to handle the new Slayers. Euphoria: Buffy gets tired of sitting and waiting for something to strike at her and her friends after 5 Slayers go missing in two weeks. And as she gets really bored, she gets a surprise visit from her sister slayer, Faith, who’s come and decides to help “B” get her groove back. But, trouble begins when the Slayers are drugged… I’ve Got One…:Robin trails Faith to Athens, and arrives in time for trouble when Willow fears that something horrible happened to them while Faith and Buffy were high with Orpheus. Xander fearing the worst takes some of The Slayers on a hunt for the missing slayerettes, where they meet some very strange demons that there are no texts of. Count Your Blessing: Buffy must figure out a way to stop a pregnant woman who is terrorizing the city, and they know is having a demonic child, but Buffy and the other slayers find that they can’t hardly lay a finger on her. Then things get really strange when they discover that she is a Slayer. But, a Slayer (even a pregnant Slayer) wouldn’t be able to cause this much damage. Theory: The Groosalugg tells the Scoobies of his worries that Willow might not be who she seems, informing them of Cordelia’s demonic hijacking when she “fell from Grace”. As Dawn does an exorcism to cast out demons from the castle, Buffy and Xander do some tests on the pregnant Slayer, who has no memories. Mind-walk: Willow taps into the pregnant Slayer’s mind to discover where she has been and why she’s pregnant with a being that there is no information on. Buffy and Pike go on a night on the town where they meet her old friend, Ethan Rayne. I’m Throwed: Buffy and Pike follow Ethan around the city to discover why the hell he’s here, and what has he got to do with all the freaky unexplained things that have happened since everyone arrived in Athens, he swears that he’s working for the greater good but Buffy finds that hard to believe as he massacred a dozen people on her plane, not to mention Amy, but he swears he has no clue where the missing Slayer are. Willow discovers that a tribe of children of Old Ones from the first hell dimension have arrived in order to impregnate Slayers and create a new race of beings that will purge the world of good and evil. Times like These: Buffy and the Scoobies travel to England for a Watcher’s Council Conference on their situation. Giles announces to everyone that he is getting married to his love, Olivia. Old friends arrive for the meeting; Faith, Robin, Andrew, Vi, Rona, and Kennedy. Meanwhile, Pike tells Buffy of his frustration that he is not good enough for her. Dawn tries to seduce Groo into a relationship. Kennedy and Willow re-meet and Kennedy confronts Willow about her decision to leave her after they promised that they would never do that to each other. A comic book reading slayer, Jennavecia takes a liking to Xander. While all the Scoobies overlook their love lives, the remaining rogue Slayers of Ornella’s, decide to take this opportunity to take down Buffy and the Council. For Whom the Bell Trolls: The day of Giles’ wedding has arrived. Ethan Rayne decides to use this day to torment Giles forever. He summons a demon who Giles owes a debt to, to terrorize him on his wedding and possibly kill his bride, Olivia. Willow magickally searches for Rayne, and Buffy wants to go after him, but Giles convinces her that he will deal with his old friend once and for all. BTB: Back in Greece, as Buffy, and Pike take the Slayers to a Back to Basics Training Session with a pack of biker demons, Xander meets with the Leader of the Children of the Old Ones. Dawn finds herself super strong and fast after making love with Groo. High and Low: The Scoobies frantically try to find the pregnant slayers when The Leader challenges Buffy to a fight, where she learns something horrific. Even Lower: After Buffy kills The Leader, she finds out that she and Faith were impregnated when they were drugged. She decides to take the whole Horde head and send them back to the hell they came from. Send them in: Buffy calls Faith back to Greece, in order to tell her that they both were impregnated with the spawn of The Horde. Faith burns the Horde’s headquarters down and kidnaps at least two of the children, tortures them in order to find out how to reverse the pregnancy. Willow sends Xander back to Africa to meet with The Shadow Men to find out what might happen when the Horde and the Slayers spawn children. Pike, Groo, and The Slayers deal with the Exchange Demon. Exchange Pt.1 Buffy must find and save Faith who was taken by The Horde before either one does something drastic. Xander tries to get back to Greece but the Horde tries to stop him by removing all other demons from Greece, and the Scoobies must reopen the portal to get him back, but they have no exchange. Exchange Pt.2 The impregnated Slayers begin to give birth; Buffy must defeat the Horde, hold up her own labor, and get the head of a member in order to terminate pregnancies. Some of the Slayer/Horde hybrids are born and The Scoobies must take care of them.

SEASON 9 (Late 2004) Sarah Michelle Gellar Nicholas Brendan Iyari Limon Michelle Tratchtenberg
Seth Green and Alyson Hannigan as “Willow”
Queen of the Slayers:
Knowledge and Reverence: Buffy, Xander, Willow, Kennedy, and Oz head to Tokyo along with newbie slayers, Kira, Gabrielle, Shana, Aio, and Dee for a little word exploring and for recruiting and training the Slayerettes. Buffy is still getting used to all of the changes, and is still reeling over her last battle in Rome, continuing to think about the glimpse of a possible future daughter she had, also over the loss of Dawn. No, Dawn is not dead, she decided and with a little begging, to go to England with Giles, to attend school and to help Giles rearrange the Watcher’s Council and to get Sir Nigel’s head out of his ass Oz helps Xander in experimenting with spirituality, with comedic efforts. Willow and Kennedy are working on bonding, while Kennedy takes a little trip “inside” of Willow, literally. But, there is a tribal Shaman drawn to the trails of power followed by the Slayers and their magically-inclined friends. NOTES: • Faith and Robin with a group of Slayers headed back to Cleveland in order to stabilize and close the Hellmouth there. • Andrew is still in Rome, now a full-fledged Watcher, watching over his own group of Slayers.

They discover that Sir Nigel up and quit, and few other watchers revolted right along with him. Giles is the new Head of the Council, with Dawn as his apprentice have made sure Buffy’s wishes about the council were seen through. They also, made sure that Watchers’ and their Slayers have personal relationships instead of Teacher/Student. Buffy, Kira, and Dee break into the stronghold of the legendary vampire, Dracula, in an effort to rescue Buffy's comrade, Xander who had been placed in a trance to serve as Dracula's manservant. After a brief battle, Dracula finally reluctantly agrees to release Xander from the trance and return him to Buffy. NOTES: Buffy and the Scoobies are roaming around in a Double Decker Bus around England. Willow has cast a spell on it to make it seem bigger on the inside, then it does on the outside and Buffy and Dawn, Will and Kennedy, Xander and Oz, and Kira and Dee have their own shared rooms, and there are 2 bathrooms.
The Pack: Oz is approached and rejoins his wolf-pack, the former guardians of The Golden One. They are gathering together one day in order to defeat an enemy that once posed a threat to the deceased sorcerer. Buffy and the Scoobies try to help Oz before he gets in over his head.
The City of Lights: Before heading back to the States, the Scoobies are now visiting Paris, France. A mere mural in the city of lights is drawing tourists in, literally and Buffy must put a stop to it. Xander hopes to find love in Paris, but of course the demon magnet is on the job again. NOTES: Oz does not appear in this episode, so Seth Green’s name is not in the opening credits.
Rewind: As the gang travel back to the states, Buffy is experiencing the same day over and over again and nobody besides her and Willow can tell, and a familiar someone does not want the Scoobies to get back to America, so B and Will try to figure out who, why and how to stop them.

As Oz helps Kennedy with her “daddy problems”, Willow tries to figure out who tried to stop the gang from getting back to The States. NOTES: These next 3 episodes have the Scoobies settled in New York.
Checkout Time: Buffy gets an unexpected visit from Angel and Spike. The scoobies try to help a pregnant woman whom they believe is carrying a Slayer inside of her and save her before a clan of vampires tries to use her baby as their holy vessel by the orders of their new leader, Drusilla. • NOTES: David Boreanaz, James Marsters, and Juliet Landau guest star in this episode. • This episode’s title is a pun on a line from the episode in which Buffy talks about her “Heartbreak Hotel”.
Cheap Labor: Willow tries to help the Slayer-mama give birth, and keep from dying because the baby’s slayer strength, and Buffy and the others must take care of Dru and her new buddies. • NOTES: Juliet Landau guest stars as Drusilla in this episode.

A Whole in the World: Buffy and the gang arrive back at the crater that once was Sunnydale and reminisce as they help out a small town that’s having problems with shapeshifting. Offering: The Scooby Gang is in San Francisco and is a little freaked out by the lack of supernatural activity. Unbeknownst to the others, Willow is visited by Whistler who was sent to tell her that because of her connection the Slayers, and connection to the entire Earth, the Powers that Be are offering her a chance to join them. Meanwhile, a bunch of girls are meeting up and believe that they have become Gods, but in reality they are actually Slayers, who plan to commit suicide and become Higher Powers. Trial by Fury: The Scoobies learn that there is a Hellmouth in Providence, Rhode Island so Buffy and her friends fly over as soon as they can. They get there and learn that a Congress of united supernatural beings are coming there for a Centennial Meeting. They want The Slayer as their Foreman. They want Willow as the Wicca Representative, and Oz as the Werewolf Representative. Buffy re-meets an old friend – Pike who has been in Providence, taking care of the Hellmouth. Xander, Dawn and Kennedy must keep all the other vampires and demons out of the city while the Congress is in session or all hell will break loose. • Sarah Michelle Gellar’s real life husband Freddie Prinze Jr. guest stars in this episode as Pike who was portrayed by Luke Perry in the non-canonical hated Buffy 1992 movie. Hellmouth Patriots: Buffy finds herself more calm and relaxed after she spends a passionate night with her old-boyfriend, Pike. Dawn’s watcher-training comes in handy when the tagging along slayerettes, Kira and Dee go after an Ogre by themselves. Willow confides in Oz about her accepting the offer to become a Power that Be. • Special Guest Star: Freddie Prinze Jr.
Cleveland Bound: Buffy, Willow, Xander, Dawn, Oz, Pike, and Kennedy head to Cleveland to offer help and support to Faith and Robin and their tribe of Slayers after getting word that they finally have a plan to close the supernova Hellmouth for good. They get there, and Buffy learns that Faith plans on getting Willow to tap into the essence of the Scythe once again in order to fuse the essences of all of Faith’s Slayer Squad into one in Faith’s body in order to take out all of the nasties coming out of the Hellmouth and seal it for good. Buffy isn’t too sure about it, but Faith believes that this is her destiny, and too let her have a little of the lime light. Willow reveals to Kennedy, and Xander her ascension as a Power that Be. Kennedy is despaired that Willow accepted without talking to her and didn’t tell her sooner. Xander is upset that she will be gone. • Special Guest Star: Freddie Prinze Jr.
Essence: Willow uses the Scythe to combine all of Faith’s slayers’ essences into her body, and with the Scythe she is able to kill all of the Turok-Han, send the roaming demons straight back into the Hell hole, and have the Hellmouth collapse upon itself and completely obliterated (unlike Sunnydale, Cleveland is still in tact). Buffy isn’t so good at the waiting behind as Faith does her thing as she and the others handle the minor demons that might escape the wrath of the once psychotic Slayer. • Special Guest Star: Freddie Prinze Jr.
Ascension Willow finally tells Buffy about her ascension as a Power, and reveals that Eternity up there might not be that long in our dimension. Kennedy takes her anger out on several demons that is until one of them gets the best of her and takes her to an underground to eat her. Dawn discovers that there are more Slayers than they originally thought out there and that there aren’t enough Watchers and the Scoobies might have to split up. Buffy will have to go to Seville, Spain with a volunteering Pike who agrees to go with her and be her new “watcher”. Dawn heads back to London to attend university in the fall. Xander heads to Greece to watch girls yet to be found there. Kennedy decides to go to Auckland, New Zealand, after having a not-so emotional good-bye with Willow, as she leaves without even actually saying good-bye. Oz heads to Olympia, Washington. Faith and Robin decide to head to Roswell, New Mexico because there’s a heap of demonic activity there. The Scoobies meet up one final time before heading there separate ways in the park as Willow is illuminated by a brilliant light and is lifted into the sky (much like Cordelia was in Angel Season 3)
