why spike and not angel? I mean if someone always pops up on the right time , that person is Angel -like in Chosen? And i dont think that Josss means to integrate the story form After the Fall into season 8 Why spike? Because as i said, in a time slip it seemingly showed Spike in Frays time. So in terms of continuity, it should be spike, especially as we know Angel gets Shanshu, so wont even be alive in Frays time. Spike will. And im sure i read that Joss "wants to bring back some of the characters that originated from Buffy back into BS8" this could start and END with harmony, but i hope not.

When will we get a coloured version of the Doyle/cordy/angel one?

Random thought. With Illryias flash forward of what seemed like Spike in Frays time. And the last issue commenting on Buffy's most important men, being lurks. And with *spoilers for issue 21* harm returning from Angel. It seems like Joss is beginning to merge the characters back into Buffy? Think were gona get a spike cameo in issue 19?

"the most important men... So i think it just generally means Angel and Spike. Willow was just setting up to show Fray the differences between them. Buffy has 2, even three if you count Drac, male "lurks" that she hasnt killed, out of not seeing as a threat (spike S4), out of teaming up with them to take down other villains (WATG) or simply being in Love with them (A+S). Frays most important Lurk is obviously Harth, is a villain. And hasn't been through the same amount as Buffy, so still see's stuff as black and white.

Another couple of things, hope not too annoying too much lol, just wana share my thought track.
Someone mentioned the discolouring when Fred changes to Illyria. Thats her time jumping? correct? I could be wrong, but frame one is the inside of the building, then its something metal like, like the thing she was kept inside in STF? and then frame 3, theres a hole in the wall. Frame 4 shes back to normal. Then she smashes through the wall. cool eh?
thought number 2: Its a very big hypothetical theory, but i like it. Angel chooses to "pass on" and die. Angelus had been seperated from Angels body. Hence angel being human. If they resouled Angelus, this would basically bring back Angel from the dead, right? All fanged up and vampire strength and all.

Actually thats just reminded me of something said in the actual issue. To Gunn, about the visions that he has seen.
"They were true. Every single one of them. Buts its your interpretation..."
Well, weve only seen one image from this vision, it could mean something COMPLETELY different. Such as, that vision was of Angelus, and once Angel has destroyed him, he will get Shanshu.....
I really like the idea that Angelus and Angel have been split into different bodies in HellA.

Um, okay, couple of questions/ideas.
Was the double page spread supposed to be Angel, or Angelus? At first i thought Angel. But then realised all the bodies were what looked like humans.
Then when i thought it was Angelus, I remembered back to when someone mentioned "what if Angelus has been seperated from Angel, and there is set to be a fight between Angel + Angelus".
Why did they give Wes the knowledge and vision? surely that ruins what their final plan is, coz Wes just told everyone? Unless i read it wrong?
And in my mind, i think we can trust that Cordy, IS Cordy, because of her reaction to Wes telling everyone the plan. WH surely wouldnt orchestrate Wes telling the story, and If cordy is WH, why would they make her act surprised and interested? Sorry just a ramble, but its the inner thoughts of the issue for me

I cant speak for everyone else, but i know i see Willow as evil because she wants to kill Buffy/Fray (the description for issue 4 of TOYL)

Fray never got visions. They were given to Harth. Although its fair to say its your opinion, i think its obvious that when it shows the "magic banished" bit, its only an image of what BMD is describing.
It could get kinda muddled, but with the whole time issues coming into play in TOYL, who's to say when this banishing happens, i know its unlikely, but just hypothetically, BMD wasnt actually there when the banishing happened. So they likely got the story from the watchers diary's, for all we know, Buffy could go back to present time, and write that into the diary herself.

It wasnt a vision. Big monster dude was simply telling Fray how it happened/s. What WE saw, was simply for us. Seeing the description of what BMD was saying.
Yeah, but Fray was simply telling Buffy what BMD has told her. and BMD turned out to be a bad guy. Whos to say he was telling the whole truth?

Okay. In Fray, were/Fray is told that all the magic was banished from the world. Were now in Frays time, and its pretty obvious not ALL the magic was banished.
What if it was a prophecy, NOT history. And the reason that the magic hasnt been fully banished, is because this event hasnt happened yet? The woman/"slayer" that dissapears into the portal that was shown in Fray, could be Willow, or could simply be Buffy returning to "present" time.
Although this would close Frays story and probably hault any chance of some more Fray comic in the future, this to me would wrap up the continuity issue fairly well for me. What ya think?

Amy i was happy with. Warren, not so much. But im okay with it now. Dracula i was okay with. Oz, Ill be very happy with. Dark willow, im not happy with. But it doesnt seem like its THE dark willow, and it seems like an alternate version that can be stopped. Like Vamp willow from season 3. So ill see where Joss goes with this.

Not to break your straws. but *spoilers* the write up for issue 18 says "a villain who has survived over 200 years to take down the two slayers"
Unless! now im clutching, the villain IS drusilla. And Willow lived for 200 years just to help fray and Buffy fight dru/harth. Yeah...stupid. But would be funny is Joss threw in Dru in the next issue. No1 would see it coming....except me.

Theres one that always bugs me. Its in season 3, and i know wes is in it. (not sure on the episode, not seen it in a while) But Buffy goes from resting her head on the back of her hand (like The Thinker) to resting her head on the palm of her hand, then back to leaning on the back of her hand, in the space of like 5-10 seconds.
Also, in earshot, when Buffy looks at the clock tower, time is...something. Then Buffy starts running/climbing to the clock tower, and the time has changed by hours.

Although i would like it to stay connected to the overall story. I dont think it needs it, and if done right, i think i would prefer it as a standalone. If it isnt properly connected i think it will have more sentiment to it, maybe like if the whole thing is unrelated look back at how things used to be, then last page: BOOM, were back to present time, Buffy looking up at willow and saying "we need to talk".

I agree with what smashed said. Both died by "natural" means. If tara cant come back, Anya cant. And although they have written andrew pretty well, i still dont think its the same feel as the actors portral.
How? Why? If its only for the comedy factor, i dont think so. Issue one of TOYL was pretty funny in my opinion. And the whole people walking in on satsu and buffy was done pretty well too, had me laughing out loud.
To me, Tara has more of a place in season 8. Now dont get me wrong, im well against resurrection, but i think Tara has a better reason to "come back", not fully, but for a cameo of sorts. Especially now that Willow goes dark again, perhaps in a Cordy type "put you back on the right path" sorta way.
