You can. And I agree. season 6 started out on a very light and funny note True, and then things took a down turn rather quickly.

^^ Same here! I Love Beer Bad! I actually think S4 has some real moments of comedy gold. Not to mention great eps like Hush and Restless!

I don't know if I'd say that Joss cared less about the Angel series. I don't think that's true at all. Yes, Buffy was Joss' first baby, but I believe he puts his heart and soul into each of his creations. It's no secret that I love Buffy just a little bit more than Angel, it will always be my favorite, but that said, I do love Angel, too. And I can see that a lot of love, time, and effort went into this show. Not only by Joss, but by the rest of the cast and crew as well. Maybe the Angel series isn't "as popular" as Buffy, that is a matter of personal opinion, but I definitely think it is a fantastic show in its own right with an equally compelling cast of characters.

I saw Firefly only after it came out on DVD. I watched Buffy seasons 1-4 during their initial run, seasons 5-7 on DVD. I only saw S1 of Angel during its initial run, and seasons 2-5 on DVD. Saw both seasons 1 and 2 of Dollhouse during their initial run.

^ I think its in "Primeval" where they all make up? That scene where Willow and Buffy hug it out and Xander is like "..We're all going to die aren't we?"...awesome. Yeah. I love that moment, too. Makes my heart go all warm and fuzzy. And the "typical Xander" reaction is just priceless. I actually like a lot S4 as a whole. I just find myself specifically annoyed with Buffy in this ep.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I just finished a rewatch of S4 (of Buffy) a few days ago. I have noticed that every time I get to "The I in Team" episode, I find myself annoyed with Buffy's behavior...like, to the point of almost wanting to smack her. I dislike how she's all about Riley and completely blows off and ignores the others in this episode. Don't get me wrong, I like the Buffy/Riley relationship for the most part, and, of course, I LOVE Buffy, but I just hate the way she treats her friends this ep. I get that she's happy for once, and it's nice to see, but I feel like she was being a little insensitive to the others, most especially Willow. Willow was in desperate need of some alone time with her BFF, and instead Buffy brings Riley and a bunch of other commando guys to The Bronze. You can see that Willow is hurt by this, that she feels rejected and pushed aside, so she goes back to hang with Tara instead. Not to mention that Buffy is seen always rushing out the door whenever Willow tries to talk to her. I know how it can be with a spanking new boyfriend, the excitement of a new relationship, etc. I don't find myself annoyed with Buffy's behavior often, but there is something about her in this ep that I just find obnoxious and irritating. Does anyone else feel this way? Or am I just being a bitca? lol.

Luckily my mom didn't care. Same here. In fact, my mom bought me most of the seasons back in the day.

The New man - Giles is turned nto a demon after a night out with Ethan - real funny! I just watched this ep the other day. I love the part where Giles tells Spike to stop the car so he can go chasing professor Walsh down the street.

I don't like to skip it, because I think it's one of the best episodes of the series, but I have to be in the right frame of mind... I agree it is one of the best episodes, but just too painful for me to watch most of the time.

"I Was Made to Love You." Does anyone else find that after watching this episode, you sometime end up rewatching it three or four times just because you can't take "The Body" right now? I usually just skip The Body and go straight to Forever.

This Years Girl & Who Are You - Two of my fave eps from S4. I love the fight scene between Faith & Buffy. Man does Buffy's house get trashed! I also love that the first thing Faith does in Buffy's body is go take a bubble bath.

1. Do you like Joyce earlier in the show or later? Later, when she knew that Buffy was the slayer, before she just seemed like a bit of an idiot (who was also and awesome mom), after, she seemed like an awesome mom (who was not an idiot). Haha. This made me laugh.

You watched all 7 seasons in only two weeks? Wow! Yep lol. I know it's crazy. My classes hadn't started yet and I had nothing to do. The show was addicting though. Once I got into mid Season 2 I was hooked. Everytime I would watch an episode I just had to know what was going to happen in the next one. I literally stayed in and watched half of each season a day until I was done. The only time I got up was to use the bathroom, take a bath and eat. That's the longest I've ever watched tv.It took me a lot longer to watch the Angel series. Haha. Well, Buffy is definitely an easy show to get engrossed/involved in. It really is just that fantastic! I know that even now it's very hard for me to just watch an episode of Buffy and move on, I usually have to keep watching and watching. lol. There's just something about it that really draws you in. It's nice to just be able to sit down, watch Buffy, and forget about everything else for a while.

^^Completely agree. Faith's va is really good. I almost thought it was Eliza Dushku for a second there. But even not, she does a great job. Its very believable. (Granted all I have seen is the amazon previews for the latest eps. But it was enough to see that it was really good.) Same here. I think Faith's VA sounds similar enough to Eliza Dushku. Actually, the whole "New Future For You" arc has turned out pretty good, imo. I hope they keep going with these.

Favorite villain - I was watching Selfless last night and realized how awesome D'Hoffryn. Before that we had only see him be somewhat comical with Willow or a mentor to Anya. The look in his face as he killed Halfrek was just so wicked. I was actually scare of that look he gave. That was the first we ever really saw evil in his eyes. D'Hoffryn is officially one of my favorite villain and is somewhat underrated. Same here. I love D'Hoffryn. He is just so hilarious!

My best friend got me into it. We were around 15-16 at the time. I saw some episodes she had recorded of S1, and by mid S2 with the whole Buffy/Angel storyline I was hooked! From then on I have been in love with this show. Nothing will ever replace it in my heart.
