And frankly, I don't find it much more despicable than the things Buffy consciously did to him over the season. I think that scene is over-simplified by viewers, just because people would rather view rape as a black-and-white topic. Please tell me that's not your way of saying "She had it coming"? Of course, if it is, I could say "Beating a rapist is okay" or "He tried to kill her before, he got it coming". Kind of a evil moot circle, with the blaming. You have me as saying this, but I think it's just because I had this quoted in my post as well. It's not a big deal just don't want people thinking that's what I said as it's not my opinion on the subject.

1. I HATE Spike! I feel like he sucked up waaay too much time in BtVS S6&S7, and then sucked up even MORE time in AtS S5. God. It annoyed me that he was in so many damn episodes with so much airtime! I liked spike up until season six.
2. I hated the idea of Evil Willow. God, she was the CHEESIEST. I actually didn't enjoy seeing Alyson Hannigan in those episodes. That finale still takes forever to finish.
3. Potential slayers? Are you joking? Talk about dumb plot device. Well, almost as dumb as The First Evil. Seriously, season 7 was good until the little brats came in and sucked up even more airtime from the core scoobie. Pair that with the bad acting and...well, there's season seven for you.
4. I laugh at every issue of season 8. Well, after WatG. Ever since DARK!~Evil~Willow came in, paired with time travel, I thought the comicss just became bad sci-fi, when BtVS used to be horror-comedy. I refuse to believe that these are canon. Not because I simply don't like them, but because everybody is out of character. I enjoy Jeanty's art, let me say that. But other than that, Joss has turned me away. FAR FAR AWAY.

I'm not the hugest fan of Willow/Tara pairing. Not that I don't like them together, but they're not one of my favorites. That's mostly because I dislike Season 4 Tara and dislike late season 5 and Season 6 Willow. So I couldn't thoroughly enjoy their coupliness (except for the first half in season 5).

I don't like Buffy. I mean I like her a little bit. But she's the main character you have to like her. But as a person? Nah. She whiny and her head is filled with self-importance. And not the cool Fatih kind either.

^Edit - Agree with you 100%
Don't get me wrong I loved Cordelia on Angel, but a part of me wishes she had stayed on Buffy. Even if it meant we would no longer have Anya on BTVS. There I said it.

Yes! Cordelia on Buffy - I would have loved her so much to stay! I missed her.

I hate Cordelia on Angel, she's just annoying on it. So bland and boring. Like Kate- somebody else on Angel that I hate. And I'm sorry but I've never reallymuch liked Xzander.
I love Spike though, I think he was a really good deep character in season 5 and 6 if you looked beneath the surface

I think Dawn grew more and more pointless and annoying the longer she was there. Here stupid 'I feel so left out' storyline took up to much screen time.
I HATE HATE HATE Kennedy and don't know why Willow would have fallen for her.
Xander grew useless in season seven, in my opinion anyway, dont get me wrong, I did like him.
Anya wasn't herself in season seven. She was much less funny and at times annoying.

Xander should have died in Season 7 and become the main face of the first as planned.

I GREATLY DISLIKE Season 4 of Buffy. IT is by far my least favorite. The villains were lame, the storyline was eh, and the season was kind of anti-climactic. The only redeeming qualities were the intro of Tara, the episode Hush, and when Riley hits Parker. Other than tha, I do not like that season.

Speaking of season 2 Bangel drama, I never really bought the 'buffy feels guilty' storyline. I get that you would be really upset and wish things had gone different but she didn't know what would happen and yet she blames herself anyway. All she did was have nice loving sex with her boyfriend and you know there was a glitch in the spell. I'm not saying it didn't make for good story, but if that had happened to me, I would be heartbroken but I doubt I would blame myself I didn't know! I just thought that it made no sense and made Buffy look kind of self depricating which isn't really her unless she does deserve it.

I strongly dislike Bangel. While I can respect it, that's only until the end of season 3. I hated how they kept going over and over and over with and constantly bringing it up. Also hated how Angel was suddenly 'i'm in love with buffy again' in season 5. Drives me crazy

Ok
1. I understand why you could like Dawn in later seasons, she is bearable but I do hate her when I think of her overall.
2. What's with all the Tabula Rasa hate?? I love it because I feel like to follow the musical episode the episode couldn't just be a really good episode but had to have something about it that helped transition back from the world where people break out into song, and I think Tabula Rasa did that as well as move the story along at a comfortable pace.
3. Angel wasn't broody, he was whiney. Though the man looked good in leather pants.
4. I don't really think Buffy grew that much. Definitely not in comparison to other characters.

Tabula Rasa is my absolute favorite episode, and not because of the Willow/Taraness. I loved all the random interactions and Anya's bunny spell. I even liked the shark villian! "Time, Mr. Spike, is what turns kittens into cats." xD It cracks me up every time!
Buffy doesn't even come close to my favorite characters list. She'a in the 20s, with all the decent recurring characters. I just never felt an attachment to her like I did the other characters.
I don't agree that Xander dying would've been made for a better season seven. The emotional blow that would hit all the central characters would be too great, and a come-back recovery in less than one season would've looked cheap. Anya, Willow, Buffy, Dawn, even Giles would've all suffered so much if the image of Xander was used to torment them.
It always hurts when I see someone saying that Lorne was stupid or annoying. Personally, I thought he was an amazing character. I loved his need to take care of his guests and make sure everyone had a good time. When he was in Pylea (which I'm spelling wrong) Lorne knew that he never belonged there, and so, instead of trying to fight his dimension, he simply found a place which could embrace his passions. I really admired that part of him.
