Real name? Jeff
How old are you right now? 23
What do you study/do for a living? I work for Choices For Care.
Place you are from? Frankfurt, Germany
Place where you live now? Vermont
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? 11
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? I liked it right away. I hadn't seen anything like it before.
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? The first episode I ever watched was "Teacher's Pet" when it first aired.
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? Towards the end of season 1.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? "Becoming" Parts 1 & 2. Those episodes were so strong and intense. I was begging for more.
Season 5 blew me away. Once Glory found out Dawn was the key, I was on the edge of my seat every week.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Not really. There are a few episodes I don't like as much, but overall the show was never a letdown.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? Definately Cordelia. It was sad to see her go. Anya comes in second for me. She was a great comedic replacement for Cordy.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? Dawn. I wanted them to kill her off after season 5. She was completely pointless after that. She annoyed me so much.
What is your favorite female character? Faith all the way!
What is your favorite male character? Giles.
What relationship did you “worship” the most? Spike & Drusilla. They were great together.
Buffy’s soul mate? Angel
Willow’s soul mate? Tara
Xander’s soul mate? Anya
Which death touched you the most? Joyce. "The Body" is one of the hardest episodes for me to watch.
What is your favorite season and why? Season 5 would have to be my favorite. It was epic. Having a Hell God as the big bad was insane.
What season did you enjoy the least? I'd have to say season 6. I still love it, but for me, it just didn't have the same kind of feel that the other seasons had. It was a very depressing year, which I'm glad they did. It's a part of life. Evil Willow was the shit though!
If you had to rank the seasons? 5, 2, 3, 4, 7, 1, 6
What is your favorite big bad? Glory. She was awesome.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? "The Gift". I knew someone was going to die that episode, but Buffy was the one character I didn't think it would be. It was a very shocking ending. Joss Whedon really knows what he's doing.
"Chosen" is a very close second. The series ended perfectly.
What is your favorite fight? Buffy vs. Faith in "Graduation Day, Part 1".
Do you have one favorite episode? No. There are way too many good ones.
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? It was a great show, unlike anything I'd ever seen before. The writng was great. Joss created such a unique world. TV doesn't get better than Buffy.
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? I do. Not as much as the show though.

Real name?Rebecca (shocker!!) How old are you right now?22, soon to be 23 What do you study/do for a living?Right now I work for a law firm, looking at legal documents. Planning to go back to school and study Social Deviance. Place you are from? Little town out of Seattle, WA Place where you live now?Seattle, WA How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I believe 16. Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?I did not like it right away! I thought it was silly and mostly appealing to guys (starring beautiful SMG wearing revealing clothing getting hot and bothered kicking demon arse, what guy wasn't watching this show?) I remember watching promos and scoffing. "Friends, please." Do you remember the very first episode you watched?I believe it was Bad Eggs lol. No wonder I didn't like the show at first! When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?Well, I pretty much ignored all things Buffy until I was 17 or 18 when I watched some episodes on FX. It was S7 that caught my eye. That was just before I left for college, when I was so drop dead bored that I decided to pick up a season of Buffy. I chose S5, I believe. I remember watching it and thinking: omg... this show has a plot! Like... the episodes are connected... and it's really good!! Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Ha... well... let's just say that after I watched S5, I soon figured out that you can watch an entire 22 episode season in 13 hours. I bought and watched the rest of the series like that. I'd call that out of control, haha. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?I actually hate that phrase. The only way for it to jump the shark at any point would be if Joss wasn't running the show. He has, and always will be the driving conductor of Buffy, so jumping the shark is impossible. Which character gave you more laughs overall?Anya I think. Though Cordy, Xander, Spike, and Andrew came up close. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?I didn't like how whinny Dawn was at times. "get out-Get Out-GET OUT!" Though she did get a lot better in S7. What is your favorite female character?Buffy. I would follow her through fire if she were real. What is your favorite male character?Angel... followed very closely with Spike and Xander. What relationship did you “worship” the most?I don't really. I came in late to the game and didn't get sucked into 'ships. I view them as right for the time, but not that Buffy has ever dated her soul mate. Buffy’s soul mate? Xander!! Willow’s soul mate?Tara, without a doubt. Xander’s soul mate?Buffy! Which death touched you the most?Joyce. "The Body" was so chilling, done so very well. Buffy's death in S5 wasn't final in any sense of the word to me. It was the first season I picked up, and I knew full well that two seasons followed. I had full confidence that she would come back, so that probably dumbed down the impact of "The Gift" for me. What is your favorite season and why?S6. Every character went to a dark place in this season, it was quite refreshing from normal television. What season did you enjoy the least?S2--Don't kill me! There were episodes that I did like, "I Only Have Eyes For You" a big example. I guess I don't value the whole Angelus plot. It was well done, Passion is a huge marker of it, I just wasn't a fan I guess you could say. Also Xander turned into the biggest *$@ which I did not appreciate. If you had to rank the seasons?6735412 What is your favorite big bad?The First. Such an interesting character, to take the form of anyone who has died. Lots of episode plots were spawned from the First as a genuinely unique character. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?S6. The Episode Finale felt like it spanned across 3 episodes (it pretty much did), which is amazing if you're on a Buffy marathon kick. What is your favorite fight?Showtime. Do you have one favorite episode? I don't think so. There are so many great ones, I cannot pick and choose. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?Buffy has it all. Love, sex, death, defying death, fate, defying the PTB, paying the price, humor, and deep dark areas of the psyche. It's everything I would want in a show. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? Yes, very much so. I just wish they would make them more "focused". I feel it's been floundering since WATG. Entertaining, but as a whole the story isn't moving.

Real name? Jessica
How old are you right now? 20
What do you study/do for a living? Studying screenwriting
Place you are from? Ontario, Canada
Place where you live now? same
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? 13?
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? I think I saw some here or there before I saw it again at 13 on FX (like i knew Angel was a vampire somehow) but to be honest what got me was how funny it was I told all my friends the next day and we were all watching re-runs every night by the end of the week.
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? No, I think maybe somethinging in season 2. I have a feeling it was reptile boy.
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? Within a week after that first real viewing
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? well it slowly built up, but by season 7 (i was updated enough to watch them weekly now) I was freaking out if I wasn't home yet and the show was on. It got so bad, even though my friends watched it they couldn't talk about it as much as I could so I found myself writing what happened in last nights episode in my diary.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Nope.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? Xander, Oz, Spike, Anya have the jokes i quote most often, oh and Giles drunk
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? More than I care to mention...at first. I didn't like Anya, Dawn or Kennedy at first. But all grew on me (kennedy the least but still I didn't want her dead by the final episode, so that's progress)
What is your favorite female character? Buffy. Faith I think is a close second. But i mean if my orders closeness could be measured in time everyone would be a millisecond apart.
What is your favorite male character? Spike. Probably Oz as second. but the same goes for the males as does with females.
What relationship did you “worship” the most? Just look at the name. I'm Spuffy all the way, but I'm definitely not one of those people that supports one ship for a person so therefore thinks the rest are irrelevant.
Buffy’s soul mate? don't believe in it. I want her to end up with Spike though.
Willow’s soul mate? Don't believe in it, and Willow is the only time I could never choose. I love Oz and I love Tara so much that I've never been able to pick a side.
Xander’s soul mate? Don't believe in it, but Anya
Which death touched you the most? Christ that's a hard question, Joyce I guess because "The Body" kicked my ass along with the last scene in "Forever". Though when Tara got shot...it was like I felt it.
What is your favorite season and why? Don't really have one. I'll go with seven though. It was a great ending and it's a Spuffy paradise.
What season did you enjoy the least? I'm going to say one but only because it's the one I rewatch the least, still freaking awesome though.
If you had to rank the seasons? 7,5,3,4,6,2,1 (But again with the milliseconds)
What is your favorite big bad? I'll rank. Angelus, Caleb, Glory, Life (or The Trio), The Mayor, The First, The Master, Adam
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? haha I'll rank again (Because I can't pick, lol) "Chosen", "Grave", "Graduation Day", "Restless", "The Gift", "Becoming", "Prophesy Girl" (PG loses because all of it wasn't excellent, however the scene where Buffy finds out she's going to die kills me)
What is your favorite fight? I'll go with Buffy vs. Angelus in "Becoming Part 2" because who can beat the moment when he tries to stab her in the head?
Do you have one favorite episode? oh hell no
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? God everything. It was amazing writing with believable characters. It was funny and poignant and exciting. Everything about it draws you in.
"I am standing on the mouth of hell and it is gonna swallow me whole. And it'll choke on me."
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? I do. Not quite as much as the show though.

Real name? Ronnie
How old are you right now? 37
What do you study/do for a living? Between jobs
Place you are from? Scotland
Place where you live now? Scotland
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? 30
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? Didn't really start watching in earnest until season 5, though i'd seen earlier eps on occassion
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? First ep I ever watched was Revelations
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? Family.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Pretty much after Family I made a deliberate point of watching the show.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Yes. Wrecked. Season 6 had several possible jump the shark moments but its Wrecked for me.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? Overall, i think its a tough cal between Spike and the Mayor.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? Andrew.
What is your favorite female character? Tara.
What is your favorite male character? Giles.
What relationship did you “worship” the most? Willow and tara
Buffy’s soul mate? Angel.
Willow’s soul mate? Tara.
Xander’s soul mate? Anya.
Which death touched you the most? Joyce's death was the one that touched me the most although tara's death is the one I get most emotional about (but not in a good way).
What is your favorite season and why? Season3. it just had the right mix of horror, comedy, action and drama. great villains in the mayor and Faith and a fantastic story arc and some great individual episodes.
What season did you enjoy the least? Season 6. Characterisation was all over the place. Storylines that went nowhere and some that went where no storyline should without good cause. Musical aside, it was a complete damp squib.
If you had to rank the seasons? 3-4-5-2-1-7-6.
What is your favorite big bad? The Mayor.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? Gotta be graduation Day for me. it capped off an amazing season.
What is your favorite fight? Fave fight is either one of the big Buffy/Faith showdowns but the one in "Who Are You?" was just a real knockdown drag out of a fight it kinda wins out JUST.
Do you have one favorite episode? I'd have to say Once More With feeling. As much as i think the rest of the season was a no-hoper its a good episode and very audacious.
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? I think it just had a unique mixture that no other show has ever managed to achieve. Its not the best tv show ever made but its certainly the best scifi/fantasy show I've seen.
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? Never read them

Real name?Seph How old are you right now?36 What do you study/do for a living?Nursing Place you are from?the deep south, USA, land of cotton, swamps, antiquated ideals, the best breakfast food in the world, Elvis, and lazy hot summer days on the porch with a tall glass of iced tea. Place where you live now?Ozark Mountains, land of multiple trees and waterfalls and lots of hiking trails to explore. How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode?
29 Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?When I first saw the show, it had just started, and no, I didn't like it. When I came back to the show years later, I watched a S6 ep with Willow and Tara, and was hooked. Do you remember the very first episode you watched?S6 - I think it was "Entropy". Whoa! Serious drama. Punctuated by a smokin' kiss. I had to know more. When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? After "Entropy" I watched the final 4 eps of Season 6. By the time Willow collapsed in Xander's arms, and Buffy and Dawn were emerging from the pit in the graveyard, to the tune of Sarah McLachlan's Prayer of St. Francis... I was hardcore in love with the story and knew I wanted to go back and start at the beginning, and see it all. The problem was that I didn't have all the eps, and I was getting different discs at different times (library). So, I watched the entire show out of order. I would watch a S3 ep, followed by a few S1 eps, followed by a S6 ep, followed by a few S4 eps. I had to watch them all, though, because Season 7 was starting in a few months, and I wanted to be a part of the experience, wanted to say I saw it when it was on TV. It was only this year that I finally sat down and watched the entire series, in order, from start to finish. I had plenty of revelations and aha! moments, let me just say. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?Not really... I think since I saw the final arc of Season 6, I was just madly in love. A really good show that's really well-written is a thing to hold on to. My enjoyment of the series hasn't really waned, at all. I enjoy it on a lot of levels. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?Well... it's hard to say. I think the storytelling was consistent, but my perspective is outta whack, because S6 was the boat I came in on. So I see everything out of that lens. But I understand that some fans think S6 was a shark jumper. Which character gave you more laughs overall?Hm. It's a toughie. Xander, Giles, Willow, Buffy, all are pretty close in the amount of funny delivered. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? No, not really. I didn't care a whole lot for Angel or Riley, but there was nobody I couldn't stand. ETA: I had to come back and say Dawn grated on my nerves back when she was into "GETOUTGETOUTGETOUT!!", and I still don't like Kennedy much. What is your favorite female character?Buffy What is your favorite male character?I guess maybe Xander or Angel. I like Giles, but he and Xander sometimes get this holier-than-thou 'tude and gang up on Buffy. What relationship did you “worship” the most?Meh... none of them, really. I'm not much of a shipper. I guess if I had to ship something, it'd be Willow and Tara. That was bliss. Buffy’s soul mate?I think this is a trifecta: Angel, Spike, and Faith (and I don't mean sexual - I mean, literally, someone who knows you in ways that nobody else will ever know you, and many years can go by and many things can happen, but you still know that person is in you and knows what the essence of you is.) Willow’s soul mate?Again, three: Tara, Oz, Xander. Xander’s soul mate?Anya. Still a damn crying shame that they both had their heads wedged firmly up their asses during all the time they could have been together, being happy. But life is like that. Which death touched you the most?Buffy's, Joyce's, Spike's, Anya's. Buffy's resurrection is actually what gets me out of that whole Gift arc. Tara's death was very shocking and painful to watch, but at the time, I was brand new to the show so it didn't resonate for me probably like it did for everyone else. What is your favorite season and why?Season 4 and Season 6. S4: The Freshman, Living Conditions, Fear Itself, Beer Bad, Pangs, Something Blue, Hush, etc. etc. Just a fun season, while still starting to see Buffy coming into her own, and thinking about what she wants from life. S6: It's dark and explores humanity. Waaaay different than other seasons. To me, it's like a midnight garden in full bloom. It's rich and lush and sort of beckons you to walk in and sit and stay and I still think this is some of Joss & co.'s most complex, most stunning work. What season did you enjoy the least?Season 1, I suppose, although I do enjoy it. The show hadn't hit its stride, yet. If you had to rank the seasons?4 6 5 7 3 2 1 What is your favorite big bad?The Mayor! Dude was just way too much fun to watch. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? The Dark Willow arc. What is your favorite fight?Any fight where Buffy gets her backside handed to her. Yep, it's true, I like seeing Buffy win, but more than that, I like seeing Buffy learn from experience, which usually has some purpose in the story and makes her a better fighter. Like with Glory, or the ubervamp in Showtime. Sometimes, form and skill don't matter as much as the ability to adapt and improvise and have mountains of crazy stamina. Also, I have a thing for Buffy kicking ass in a graveyard. It just rocks. Do you have one favorite episode?Too many to list. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?The writing, the acting, the funny which seems to mesh so well with the drama. It's such a unique story, throwing 2 of the world's most unlikely things together: a ditzy cheerleader named Buffy... and vampire hunting. And it works. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?I do. I am not able to enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the live-action BtVS, but I do enjoy them. However, they are painfully short and can be very confusing when you're used to normally having 42 minutes to see a story line hashed out. This is something I'm still getting used to. But I'm excited that the story continues.

Real name?Amy How old are you right now?22 What do you study/do for a living?Student Place you are from?England Place where you live now?England How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode?20, just last year Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?I watched marathon-style from the very beginning. Took me a couple of episodes to get into it, but I think by The Pack, I was hooked. Do you remember the very first episode you watched?Welcome to the Hellmouth When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? When immediately after finishing season 1, I dashed out to Leclerc (I was living in France at the time) and Fnac and bought the rest of the seasons. Then I realised I was even more addicted when I stayed up til 7am watching the DVDs Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?Hmm, I think in season three when Faith was brought in. I was really not expecting anything like that to happen. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?Well, I only watched it last year and all at once, and there wasn't a moment that I thought it jumped the shark. I loved nearly all of it. Which character gave you more laughs overall?Hmm... Spike in season four and Andrew in season seven. And Anya all the time Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?Angel. I didn't like him at all on BtVS, only marginally more on AtS. Except when he was Angelus. THEN he became interesting! What is your favorite female character?Hmm... Anya, I think. She's hilarious. What is your favorite male character?Spike. What relationship did you “worship” the most?Spike/Buffy. Hardcore Spuffy shipper here! Buffy’s soul mate?Spike Willow’s soul mate?Tara, although I like both Willow/Tara and Willow/Oz equally. Xander’s soul mate?Anya. Which death touched you the most?Joyce's, I think. What is your favorite season and why?Season five. I just think this is the season where everything came together and worked nearly flawlessly. The character arcs were at an amazing point, the plotline was great and some excellent standalones. Love it. What season did you enjoy the least?Season one, just because it doesn't have as strong overall arc as the other seasons, and some of the standalones are kinda... poor. If you had to rank the seasons?5, 6, 7, 3, 2, 1 What is your favorite big bad?The Mayor, he's great. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?Favourite episode finale - Restless. I think it's so clever. But favourite final arc? Season five. What is your favorite fight?Buffy vs. the turok-han in Showtime. No idea why, it's not particuarly pivotal, but it's kinda epic Do you have one favorite episode?Fool for Love. I love Spike's character arc and this just epitomises it. I adore Spike's monologue near the end, and the final scene of Spike and Buffy sitting on the porch - love it. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?I don't think there's one reason to say what's so special about BtVS. Everything - the characters, the stories, the writing, the humour, the angst... just love it all. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? They're enjoyable to read, but I don't particularly like them. I think the storylines are a little meh, some of the characterisation seems off and I'm not really a comic book person. I'd rather read fic.

Real name? Ryan How old are you right now? 17 years old What do you study/do for a living? Still in school but going to study Journalism Place you are from? Leicester, England Place where you live now? Lauder, Scotland How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I think I was 14 Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? Well I remember catching random episodes on TV and liking it but not really understanding them in the context of plotlines and characters etc so I borrowed it from my mate Isabelle (Iamthewalrus) and falling in love with it! It was probably the most intense and fantastical show I'd ever seen. I had always been a big fan of Charmed but this just blows that out of the way! Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Mine was I Only Have Eyes For You. I remember loving the story and falling head over heels for Angel haha. The special effects really impressed me and I loved the character of Willow! Always have and always will! But yeah I think that was the first. The second and third were Doublemeat Palace and Older And Far Away When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? Passions. That episode was absolutely fantastic! It was just beautiful and shocking at the same time and I just remember gaping at the screen when Giles found Jenny dead on his bed. The scene after the Teaser when Angel is just sitting on buffy's bed terrified me for some reason. Probablt the thought of someone watching you sleeping with you completely unaware of it. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Dawn was a fantastic storyline, as was the whole magic=drugs thing. Season six has to be one of my favourite episodes. The Faith arc in season 3 was astounding. Faith was a fantastic addition to the show and she brought a...je ne sais quoi to the whole thing and Graduation Pts 1 & 2 just really proved that she was such a strong character. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? I didn't like the storyline of season 7 but still as standalone episodes they were fantastic! I dont think it ever jumped the shark. Which character gave you more laughs overall? Anya. I cannot count the times I cried with laughter at Anya. I love the scene in Tabula Rasa where she conjures the bunny and screams. I also love the bit in Storyteller where she walks into the bathroom and says to Andrew "why can't you just masturbate like the rest of us?" and she was just an overall hilarious character Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? Riley. I hated that man to no end! Seriously he did my friggin' nut in! He was such a boring character and to find that the people I babysit for named their son after him depressed me. What is your favorite female character? Willow definitely as a main character. She was just fantastic and she had this whole innocence about her. Her character development throughout the show was phenomenal as well. As a recurring character I think Faith was amazing. She is definitely up there in my favourite characters! She was just such a strong character and she was a total feisty bitch which I loved. What is your favorite male character? SPIKE FTW! I am going to marry that man! He was just amazing! His whole mannerism and personality was a work of pure genius! Only time I actually liked the Spuffy relationship was in Smashed and Wrecked. What relationship did you “worship” the most? Spangel! Haha. No seriously I think I have to go for Tillow. It was just so good to see a gay relationship on a fantastic show and it didn't make them out to be nymphos like most shows do with gay people. It showed you that they were just like everyone else and had the same problems (even if they're supernatural) as everybody else. Buffy’s soul mate? Angel. Willow’s soul mate? Tara. Xander’s soul mate? Anya. Which death touched you the most? Joyce. I have to say I didn't like Joyce that much throughout the first viewing of the entire show (don't get me wrong watching it again I have come to love her) but because it was just such a shock and it could happen to anyone. The Body was a fantastic episode. What is your favorite season and why? Season 6 no doubt about it. I loved the Willow storyline and it had many of my fave episodes in it like Once More, With Feeling, Tabula Rasa, Smashed, Wrecked, Grave, Older And Far Away. I just loved it! What season did you enjoy the least? I would have to go with Season 4...mainly cuz of Riley and the Initiative. There were some very good standalone episodes but I didn't like it overall. If you had to rank the seasons? 6-5-3-2-7-4-1 What is your favorite big bad? Glory was really a very funny character and it fit in very well with the Dawn storyline. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? Grave. Without a doubt. I loved all the Season Finales but Grave was mindblowing and showed a completely different, darker side of Willow that I just loved. Dark Willow was just amazing and she had no conscience so she just went mad! "Bored now!" What is your favorite fight? In all honesty I didn't like the final battle in Chosen. I didn't actually like that episode...probably my least favourite season finale. However I think the Faith/Buffy fight before they exchanged bodies was fantastic!! Very very cool! Do you have one favorite episode? Favourite would have to be.....Tabula Rasa. But I can never really choose just one so I'm also gonna say Once More With Feeling, Wrecked, Grave, Storyteller and Conversations With Dead People. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? Everything! The continuinty and the complexity of the show fascinated me and it was just a phenomenal show! You could relate to all of the characters and everything was a reflection on real life. I twisted all over the place and shocked you at the most unexpected places. Phenomenal show! Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? I do enjoy it but because there's a lot more time between issues it's quite hard to follow.

Real name? Aaron
How old are you right now? 24 years old
What do you study/do for a living? I do data entry for a trucking company. I am studying psychology and computer science.
Place you are from? Thurmond, North Carolina
Place where you live now? Greensboro, North Carolina
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I was 16 years old
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? A friend of mine got me turned on to it. It was love at first sight.
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Lovers Walk. I didn't know any of the back story at the time and I still loved every second.
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? As soon as Lovers Walk ended, I started going into withdrawals.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Control it? Not likely.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? The Initiative plot was kinda lame in my opinion. Adam conceptually is awesome, but I think when pen went to paper he faltered. Still, the season was filled with some of the best episodes of the series.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? Oz was winning, then Anya's long haul put her ahead in the race. Andrew tried to win out after coming in late, but fell a little short of overcoming Anya's years of hilarity.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? The Anointed One, with Riley coming in as a close second.
What is your favorite female character? Willow and Anya Tie
What is your favorite male character? Giles
What relationship did you “worship” the most? I don't really worship any relationship. I understand that each one had its place and purpose. Some I liked more that others, but more because of the individuals involved than the actual relationship.
Buffy’s soul mate? Angel. Even though I enjoyed some other relationships more, they have the whole destiny thing going for them.
Willow’s soul mate? Tara. Oz was high school love, which rarely means soul mate. Tara, however, drew Willow to her without even trying. Thats gotta be the real deal.
Xander’s soul mate? Anya. They were perfect for each other. Not sure how that happened, and I'm sure neither do they, but you can't fight fate.
Which death touched you the most? Joyce's death was a rough one.
What is your favorite season and why? Season 3. Even the worst episodes were good. The rest were freaking awesome.
What season did you enjoy the least? Season 1. I always feel that Joss shows start off a little slow. From a production standpoint, because they are finding their footing. From a writing standpoint, because his shows contain a lot of setting and back story, which takes some time to set up fully. Once the ball gets rolling though, there is no stopping it.
If you had to rank the seasons? Season 3 / 6 / 7 / 5 / 4 / 1
What is your favorite big bad? The Mayor. He's so nice, polite, and evil that you can't help but love him.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? Favorite season arc would be season 6, with Willow off the deep end.
What is your favorite fight? Xander vs. Harmony
Do you have one favorite episode? Restless because it has some many layers and details, some of which mean nothing and some of which mean everything.
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? I love that a man's creative genius can be trampled the way it was in the Buffy movie, yet still that man can pull it from those ashes and make it shine the way it did.
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? Based on what I have read so far, yeah.

Real name?JessicaHow old are you right now?20 years old. What do you study/do for a living?Psychology Student, also work at a DVD store.Place you are from? Renmark, South AustraliaPlace where you live now?Adelaide, South AustraliaHow old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I was in year 7... so I was 12.Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?OMG Yes, I was staying over a friends house and she said she wanted to show me a really hot guy on TV and she put in her buffy VHS (hehe) and as soon as I saw DB I had the biggest teen-crush ever... I craved watching the show but had no access to it.
When I was a little older my mum let me rent from the Video-store and even though they had hardly any and not even one complete season, I borrowed everything they had! I remember being so young and watching Becoming Pt 1 and 2 on a VHS I rented, and when Angel died I cried for HOURS. I was too young to understand SEASONS and finales and stff like that and I really thought he was dead forever and that there wasn't any more Buffy (It was the last video of the ones my video store had!!!)
I remember re-watching it over and over hoping that Willow would do the spell in time and Buffy and Angel would be together again *tear*Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Now I look back I'm pretty sure it actually was 'Welcome to the Hellmouth'! Because when I watch it these days I recognise DB as the way I first saw him, and I didn't know he was a vampire after my first episode watching with my friend... so probably When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?I don't think I REALISED how addicted I was until the first time I was out of home and earning money and the only thing I desperately wanted to save money for was the Buffy whole set! haha.
When I was in High School I used to run home from school to my Nanna's house (because she had PayTV and that's he only way I could see it in my town... we didn't have the channel that aired Buffy free!) so I could watch the weekday Buffy that started at 3.30PM (School finishd at 3.20 so I had to run FAST!) I also had to beat my bro and sister there so I could get dibs on the TV in my Nanna's room cos Pop wouldn't let me watch it on his! My Nanna used to watch it with me Teehee.
I used to cry on the nights I went to my dad's instead of my Nan's because I missed out on Buffy!!! Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?Well since I never got to see it as it aired on TV only as reruns, I didn't get the same experiences as some of you! I saw such a mis-mashed timeline of Buffy because of missed episodes and the fact they would run like season 1 - 3 then start again then 4 and 5 then start again and I would get pretty confused! I remember seeing OMWF and expoding with joy! Obviously being so young and being in a small town I had no access to Buffy info or fans so I really was completely on my own in my experience, I think my BEST experience was being 17 and buying all of Buffy and watching it start to finish... I felt, so...COMPLETE and I had a whole new drive for the show. I THEN started pitching it to my friends, my housemates, my boyfriend - EVERYPERSON IN THAT HOUSE HAD TO WATCH BUFFY WITH ME Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? No not at all. Well not for me. I'm not one who picks things to pieces. I am not a writer and Buffy is not my brainchild, so whether it's good or bad I took all of Buffy with a smile on my face. I never doubted the writers/directors/actors and until I met the FANS online I had no idea people actually disliked parts/pieces as much as they do. I already loved ANALYSING the show, for it's metaphors, messages, clues, connections and all that jazz but I never felt unsatisfied with any of it (again this goes back to my viewing and experiencing of Buffy being completely isolated from Buffy community - so I was completely uninfluenced in what I felt and thought during the show)Which character gave you more laughs overall?Um.... oooh tough one! I adore Anya, and Andrew! But again I never really experienced season 5,6,7 of Buffy til I bought them a few years ago. Before then my years of Buffywatching were all mix-matched s123 and through that stage I found Buffy's cutesy oneliners to be hilarious...generally all the interaction of the scoobies! Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?None in Buffy, I was slightly annoyed with say Adam, and maybe the Master at times but not really. In Angel DEFINATELY Connor. What is your favorite female character?Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow What is your favorite male character?Overall....I would say probably Giles!!!What relationship did you “worship” the most?Bangel for sure. I just always felt that way. It's not that I didn't like other ships, I was just always drawn to them because of the manner in which my Buffy viewing begun and all of that. Willow/Oz was also a big love of mine... but then again Tillow too!Buffy’s soul mate? Angel Willow’s soul mate?Tough one... but in the long run it has to be Tara I guess. Xander’s soul mate?Anya for sure... WHY DIDN'T THEY MARRY Which death touched you the most?Angel's because I was soooo young and sooo in love with him. But in a more mature way probably Joyce's. How could it not with an episode like "The Body"! I think if tara's death was more focused on instead of Dark Willow that would've hit the hardest though. The eps didn't really focus on that loss much, more on Willow's grief and not so much the loss of Tara. What is your favorite season and why? This is hard for me... Probably season 2 actually when I think about it. Most my favourite episodes are in other seasons but for consistent love and the scoobies + Angel + Spike/Dru, probably 2!!What season did you enjoy the least?Season 4. I found the initiative to be a little less interesting to me, and Adam and all that just wasn't appealing. I did enjoy the actual character relations and stuff but the big bad kind of let all the other stuff down. If you had to rank the seasons?2,3,5,7,6,1,4What is your favorite big bad?Angelus :broody: What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?I loved the EPISODE Restless so so much, but not the final arc. I love the season 5 Gift episode heaps but as an arc not as much... the arc as a whole that was my favourite would maybe be.... Dark Willow. What is your favorite fight?Angelus - Buffy in Becoming part 2.Do you have one favorite episode?Too many, there is no point naming them! I can think of 10 of the top of my head...Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?I enjoy mega-diegesis' such as the Buffyverse and revell in the fact that the characters aren't spoon-fed to the audience - they evolve and they are 4-dimensional. I think the characters really drive the show home and tie me to this place in the BuffyWorld that I never want to leave. I love how Buffy makes me feel, think and experience life. There is so much powerful emotions that BTVS conjures within me (some positive some not) and it's a way of life for me. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?Absolutely!!! I never thought I'd be a comic-nerd but I really really am and my comic book store is now my favourite store (They even know my name, so that just shows how far the comics have taken me!)Thanks if you actually read that There are a lot of these so I don't expect everyone to read all of them! Hehe.

OK, I'll have a go while I'm still here pouncing around the BtVS area. (Angel 4 lyfe and all that jazz) Real name?Cameron How old are you right now?19 What do you study/do for a living?I am are linguistics major major. Place you are from?Las Vegas, NV (heeeey Lorne baby! ) Place where you live now?Central Arkansas. Won't give an exact town but I live close enough to my university. How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode?17 years old. Late bloomer. ^_^ Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?Definitely took some time. I liked the premise, but I wasn't totally sold on it until 1x12 "Prophecy Girl" (which I've posted about at length in the "when did you become a fan" thread already, so I'll just leave it at that.) Do you remember the very first episode you watched?Welcome to the Hellmouth. Thanks Hulu, for letting me start from scratch. When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? When I had a bad day or wanted to avoid homework, I'd watch 5-6 episodes of Buffy (and later Angel) a day. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?Angel's Epiphany speech is a big moment for me (I know that doesn't count as Buffy, but on the whole scale of the Buffyverse it was one of those moving moments for me). Most of the early Angel moments in S1-3 of Buffy, and just about all the Buffy season finales. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Not "jump-the-shark" so much as "got lead astray". Season Four wasn't the greatest (and god how I hate Riley... UGH!!) but it still had some amazing episodes (Hush and Restless FTW, but some others like the beer episodes were fun too). Also, Buffy was excessively speechy in Season Seven... but I guess we all know that by now. But no, I never felt like I was watching a completely ridiculous version of the show. It just... went to some strange places. Which character gave you more laughs overall?Ooh, tough call. Anya definitely gave me the most laughs, but quality-wise Andrew and Xander were more "me comedy" because I could relate to the both of them, being a huge nerd myself. Still, nothing beats Anya's quip about a paralyzed Dawn: "She's pose-able!" Great comedy in this show. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?Riley. Spike in Buffy wasn't too interesting for me, but he really does have a great character (I like him better in Angel, much more interesting for me), and Dawn could be cute and funny when she wasn't whining a lot, but Riley... ick. Boring character, boring story arc, boring boring boring. Every time he was on screen I wanted to vomit. What is your favorite female character?Ooohh... toughie. Willow has the most time for development over the course of the seven seasons of Buffy, though, so I'm definitely gonna go with her. I'd stick Faith in a close second, though I felt she was more suited for Angel's world (I feel like she has a nice five-episode character arc in Angel, beginning with Five by Five and ending with Orpheus). What is your favorite male character?Xander, followed by Spike. Aside from the two of them being absolutely hilarious, I really felt Xander's humanity shone throughout the whole show (The Zeppo, anyone?) Spike develops a great deal over four seasons, even though I didn't really like him that much, he's a fantastic character. (Again, though, much prefer him in Angel's world.) What relationship did you “worship” the most?Hahaha, Buffy/Angel. Of course. But there's also my undying love for Xanya (Xander/Anya). Buffy’s soul mate?Angel. Willow’s soul mate?Tara. Xander’s soul mate?Anya. Which death touched you the most?By touched you mean sad? A lot of the deaths were very emotional in different ways (I'm a fan of Warren's flaying myself ) but the saddest by far has to be Joyce. I cried all the way through The Body. What is your favorite season and why?Season Six. Aside from the one-time Riley appearance (have I told you lately how much I loathe and despise him?), it was the strongest thematically. The stories all intermingled and played off each other, making for some great character arcs that culminated in one of the best season finales of any TV show I have ever loved. That, and the Trio just made everything so tragically funny. What season did you enjoy the least?Season Four. *Insert more Riley hatred here* Plus I feel like Adam should have been established much sooner as the main villain. The buildup wasn't really worth the payoff. If you had to rank the seasons?Best to worst: 6-5-3-2-1-7-4. Actually, 1 and 7 are interchangeable - 1 just doesn't have a chance compared to the later seasons, and while 7 is speechy, it's also epic, and the fight scenes make up for the cheesiness in between. What is your favorite big bad?The characters' inner demons of Season Six. They're always the best baddies to fight. I'm also in love with The Mayor of Season Three. Adam would be in here too if S4 had established him sooner (as I mentioned before). What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?Season Six for both. I've never cried so hard at a finale than for Season Six. For arc, I also like the last three episodes of Season Seven with the Scythe and Buffy returning to power. Very moving stuff. What is your favorite fight?Gosh I wish this was about Angel, I could say Angel/Connor/Hamilton. >_< For Buffy, it's a tie between the battle in Anne and the final battle in Chosen. Do you have one favorite episode?Yeah, all of them collectively. I don't really have one, but I can name a few that I can brag about over and over again because they RULE: Storyteller, Touched, Lies My Parents Told Me, The Killer in Me, Conversations With Dead People, Selfless, Lessons, Same Time Same Place (Season Seven); all of Season Six; The Gift, The Body, Checkpoint, Triangle, Buffy vs Dracula (Season Five); Hush, Restless, The Freshman, Fear Itself, Pangs, This Year's Girl, Who Are You? (Season Four); all of Season Three; Passion, Innocence, Surprise, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered, Becoming, Phases, Lie to Me, What's My Line (Season Two); Welcome to the Hellmouth, The Harvest, Witch, Angel, The Puppet Show, Out of Sight Out of Mind, Nightmares, Prophecy Girl (Season One). Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?It has a unique charm and a fantastic set of characters that simply cannot be replicated no matter how hard anyone else tries (here's looking at you, Charmed). Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?Heck yeah! More Giles/Faith man, come on!

Real name? Johanne How old are you right now? 17. What do you study/do for a living? Nothing Place you are from? Norway Place where you live now? ^ How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? Around 14. Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? I got into it in the second season. Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Welcome to the Hellmouth When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? In season 2. I didn't much care for season 1, but sometime during the second season I was addicted. I guess I realized when season 2 ended, and I got the third as fast as I could. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? I think it basically went like that during the whole series. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? No, I don't think so. Which character gave you more laughs overall? They're all funny. But I guess Spike and Anya gave me more laughs overall. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? Riley and Kennedy. What is your favorite female character? That's tough... I guess I'll go with Willow. Or Buffy. Or Anya. What is your favorite male character? Spike. What relationship did you “worship” the most? Buffy/Spike. Buffy’s soul mate? Eeh, I don't know. Willow’s soul mate? Tara. Xander’s soul mate? Anya. Which death touched you the most? Joyce's death, I think. What is your favorite season and why? It's hard for me to pick a favorite season. I love them all for different reasons. What season did you enjoy the least? Probably season 4. I didn't like Riley or the Initiative. But it had a lot of great episodes (Hush comes to mind), and Spike became a regular, so I still love season 4 as well... I guess I'll go with season 1, as it was shorter than the others and the show hadn't really started yet. If you had to rank the seasons? Uhm... Ok. 2-5-3-6-7-4-1. I think xD What is your favorite big bad? Angelus. And the mayor. And Ethan Rayne, although he wasn't a big bad, he was still awesome. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? They're all great! I love the episode Restless. And The Gift. What is your favorite fight? The final battle against Glory in season 5. And Buffy/Faith. Do you have one favorite episode? No. I can't possibly choose. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? I'm too lazy to actually come up with anything, but it's amazing and I love it to death. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? I do.

Real name?
Michelle
How old are you right now?
Just celebrated the 5th anniversary of my 21st birthday.
What do you study/do for a living?
I split the atom and occasionally make iced tea.
Place you are from?
New Zealand
Place where you live now?
Fairy Land
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode?
I remember talking to my high school friends about Buffy so I'm going to go with 13 or 14.
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?
Yep! from the very start, my enthusiasm for the show hooked my mates and my little sisters.
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?
I'll really address the 'addiction part' in a later question, but when I knew that I was really really into this show was around the end of season 2. In NZ we were getting Buffy episodes ALOT later than America - so I was going on the net and printing off the screenplays and reading them over and over and over and over.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?
About a year ago I was randomly browsing the DVD store when I saw the Buffy series on special. I had stopped watching Buffy around season 3, mainly due to the fact that it screened on tv on Friday nights and as a 15 year old at the time - I had better things to do with my weekend than watch tv.
I ended up buying the series and became enthralled - I was staying up til 4am most nights even though I had work at 7am - I became a living zombie, I was totally addicted and just completely fixated on watching the show. I've found that since owning the series every 4 months or so I'll start watching them again (I'm one of those people that have to watch from the beginning) And each and every time the same thing happens. Which basically means every 4 months I become a buffy hermit.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?
No, never. It's too well written.
Which character gave you more laughs overall?
Definitely Anya. Hands down.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
Rona (S7) Goddamn was that girl annoying, every word out of her mouth I felt like yelling 'Shut up' Maybe I have a different view point as I was watching episodes back to back and could see the characters grow and change. So I never got seemingly popular 'Dawn or Andrew' Hate as I saw these characters grow and change and be funny and sweet and quietly emotional. Rona however - needs to die.
What is your favorite female character?
Buffy. Strong, beautiful, sometimes morally comprimised? What's not to love.
What is your favorite male character?
Spike. Other than Wesley - the only fully developed male character I've ever watched.
What relationship did you “worship” the most?
Spike and Buffy. When I was in highschool it was Bangel - which makes sense, I've found as I've gotten older that Spike and Buffy was the more realistic and true relationship.
Buffy’s soul mate?
Spangel.
Willow’s soul mate?
Tara
Xander’s soul mate?
Xander had miles to go before he finds a soulmate.
Which death touched you the most?
Jesse. WHY! OH WHY! jk. Probably Spike's. His sacrifice, his last words to Buffy. I get skin tingles whenever I watch his death scene.
What is your favorite season and why?
Season 6. It was just....real I guess and was when this show went from cheesy highschool metaphors to a proper adult show with adult themes that made more sense. To me at least, the sexual relationship Buffy had with Spike, Willow's addiction, the demise of Xander and Anya's relationship - are things that alot of people in their twenties can relate to. And stuff that alot of my friends and I also went through. I just really like it.
What season did you enjoy the least?
Season 1. I'm not the biggest fan of the 'monster of the week' theme. Which is why I've found that I can't get into 'Supernatural' it's too annoying.
If you had to rank the seasons?
6-5-7-2-4-3-1
What is your favorite big bad?
Angelus. It worked so well, It wasn't just some evil dude wanting to end the world - it was Angel - a character everyone loved and had been there from the beginning. And man - did he turn evil. No 'yellow crayon' speech would have ever diverted Angelus from his goal.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?
Chosen. Whenever I think of that episode the lyrics to the song 'Praise You' by fatboy slim always pops in my head. 'We've come a long long way together.....'
What is your favorite fight?
S3 - Lovers Walk. The only time we've seen The Big 3 fight alongside each other. (Buffy, Angel, Spike)
Do you have one favorite episode?
S4 - Something Blue. This episode is just fun fun fun. 'Spike and I are getting married!' *Happy grin from Buffy as she proudly shows off her ring*
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?
It's just so well written - I find myself using Buffy quotes and such all the time. My favourite comeback tends to be 'That's it, I'm gonna beat you like a red headed step-child.'
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?
I do - Faith's arc was especially awesome, Robin Wood asking her to take out the kid vamps and how utterly defeated she looks after she does it. If they hadn't referred to Amy Winehouse, it would have been perfect. Also reading 'The Chain' man dlid that make me wish Buffy was still on the air - I would have loved to see that acted out.

If you had to rank the seasons?3, 6, 4, 5, 7, 1, 2. What is your favorite big bad?Dark Willow. I liked seeing her character just breaking away from the good girl, into the bad ass wicca. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?"Restless". In my book it comes a close second my favorite episode. What is your favorite fight?Buffy & Faith in "Graduation Day Part 1" Do you have one favorite episode? "The Wish" & "Restless" comes to a close second. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?It was and always will be a great show, with an awesome cast/crew, an amazing creator, and will still have a bunch load crazed fans! Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?I do very much!

Real name? Elena How old are you right now? 16
What do you study/do for a living? I go to high school. And I have a part-time job.
Place you are from? Pennsylvania
Place where you live now? Pennsylvania
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I want to say 14.
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? Well, I made fun of my brother a little bit when he recommended it, because at the time I held Buffy on a par with General Hospital, but he has good taste in television, so I watched it and I loved it right away.
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Welcome to the Hellmouth
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? I'm not really sure. I think it was probably when my brother wanted to take the boxed set back with him when he left after Christmas.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Well... once I got the box set back, I watched the other six seasons in about three months. So that's all kind of blurry. But maybe that counts? My homework certainly suffered because of it.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? I think that every season was definitely worth watching.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? I'm not sure. Anya was funny, and so was Andrew. I would say Spike, but funny is not my first thought about Spike (try 'I love you')... I think I will go with Andrew, because Anya has more depth. Andrew is purely comic relief, but we actually go deeper into Anya's character in episodes like Selfless.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? I didn't care much for Riley, but I really couldn't stand Robin Wood. I'm not sure why exactly, he just always seemed like he was hiding something, and I always suspected that he was evil.
What is your favorite female character? I want to say Anya.
What is your favorite male character? Spike.
What relationship did you “worship” the most? Spuffy. Without a doubt.
Buffy’s soul mate? Eh... I liked Spike a lot better, but I don't think I could call him Buffy's soul mate. I would have to say Angel.
Willow’s soul mate? Tara.
Xander’s soul mate? Anya.
Which death touched you the most? Joyce’s death. It was a normal, real-life kind of death, and people reacted in normal, real-life ways. I think it was the most relatable death.
What is your favorite season and why? Goodness. I have no idea. There are so many good plot arcs in all of them, but there is something that irks me about each of them too. Right now I want to say season 6. I don't really have a reason, but that's just what came to mind.
What season did you enjoy the least? Um.. hm. They were all good, and I didn't exactly dislike any of them. I'm going to go with season 3, without any justification.
If you had to rank the seasons? 6/7/5/2/4/1/3 (That's just right now though. It's hard to pick)
What is your favorite big bad? The mayor, most definitely. Glory is a distant second.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? They're all pretty amazing, but I have to say Dark Willow in season 6. It was the most interesting, because I was kind of rooting for the villain, and Xander's speech was a tearjerker. The Gift is a close second though.
What is your favorite fight? I don't know why this popped into my head, but when Buffy beats Spike up in Dead Things. It's kind of sweet, because he lets her do it out of love...
Do you have one favorite episode? I don't think I could pick. Once More, With Feeling is my go-to episode (if I were to just watch one), but I also love all the episodes that center around certain characters. (The Zeppo, Selfless, Fool for Love, Lies My Parents Told Me)
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? I just loved how involved the characters were. That's what always makes me obsessed with anything. I could care less about plot as long as the characters give me something to be interested in.
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? They're no comparison to the tv show, but they were pretty enjoyable. I haven't really kept up with them, as much as I meant to.

Real name? Tiffany
How old are you right now? 24
What do you study/do for a living? Wealth Management
Place you are from? Alabama
Place where you live now? NYC
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? 13, but I didn't get hooked until I was 19
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? I liked the show when it first started, but as I grew older I strayed from watching series on television. I was too busy being a teenager. When I picked it back up again at 19 I was obsessed.
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Not really. It was something in the 1st season
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? It was after the DVDs were coming out, I guess right around when the 7th season was airing on TV. I started watching the DVDs with my friend who was already obsessed.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? No, but my friends and gf probably think differently
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? No not really.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? Anya made me laugh the most. I love her random outburst and outlook on life after being a vengence demon for so long.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? I never really liked Dawn. She is annoying especially in season 6. I am warming up to her now tho. Also, I didn't like Drusilla. She annoyed me too.
What is your favorite female character? Willow definately.
What is your favorite male character? Xander
What relationship did you “worship” the most? Willow and Tara
Which death touched you the most? Tara's death was heartbreaking
What is your favorite season and why? That is hard, but I think probably season 5. I loved Glory as the big bad. We got a full season of Willow and Tara. Anya and Xander were happy. The season opened with Buffy having a random new sister! I think this season the scoobies were starting to grow up and getting more serious, but they still had some of that happiness from the earlier seasons. After season 5 they get very serious, and more adult.
What season did you enjoy the least? Season 1 I'd say. Obviously it is needed for backstory and such, but I always want to skip it when I do a rewatch.
If you had to rank the seasons? 5-4-3-6-2-7-1
Who is your favorite big bad? Glory, with Mayor Wilkins coming in a close 2nd.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? The Gift. I cried way to much when Buffy died even though I knew she wasn't going to be dead forever at the time.
What is your favorite fight? Faith and Buffy fight in season 3 is awesome.
Do you have one favorite episode? Once More With Feeling because I can watch it over and over.
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? I can't pinpoint what exactly makes it special, but the way Joss is able to pull us into the BTVS world is awesome. I really feel for the characters on the show. I also think that Joss is awesome at giving characters a good backstory. Such as Spike and Angel who have hundreds of years of history.
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? Yes, but not as much as the show. It is just nice to have the story continued on.

Real name? Andrea How old are you right now? Well I'm pretty much 13. What do you study/do for a living? Well, I think I'm too young to begin taking thorough action on this, but I plan to specialize in Psychology or be a film producer when I'm older. Place you are from? Alberta, Canada Place where you live now? Alberta, Canada How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I used to watch some of it with my sister when I was younger, I remember watching 'Hush' when it aired, but the only real thing I remember from then was seeing the Gentlemen in the school floating, chasing down Tara I think it was. They were just floating in one spot. It's blurry since that would have been 8 years ago, however in June this year I started to watch it from the beginning. Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? I liked it right away. It just seemed so unique with the characters, the concept, the writing -- the twists and turns. I got instantly hooked, and I think it'll always be my TV favourite. Do you remember the very first episode you watched? It's sorta blurry. When I was younger it might have been 'Hush', I'm not sure -- and if you're talking about thorough watching-all-the-way-through then it would've been Welcome to the Hellmouth. When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? Very early on. At the end of the first season and into the second season I would recall. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? I think it was in Season 2, 3 & 4, with Angelus, the Mayor's Accension/Faith and then Tara coming in. I was really interested in the show in those 3seasons. I would watch a lot of episodes in a day just to get further, I even remember going 'I have to get to Hush! I want to see Tara!' the second day watching the 4th season, Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Season 4 was a bit weird with the whole Initiative thing and Riley, but other than that I thought it was quite enjoyable. Dawn coming in was a bit random so to this day I still don't know exactly what to say about that. Which character gave you more laughs overall? A lot of characters gave me the lulz, but I have to say it's a tie between Willow, Xander, Buffy, and Anya. As well as some of Tara's lines. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? I didn't care as much for Riley as I initially expected to. I was happy when he left in 'Into The Woods' and I groaned when he came back in As You Were. I was okay with Kennedy until I saw how bossy she was and how Anti-Tara/Oz she was. I liked her headstrong side, diving into battle when some other Potentials resisted -- but that was the only thing I liked about her. And that didn't last long. What is your favorite female character? Willow, forever. Buffy, Faith, and Dawn come in close though. What is your favorite male character? That would have to be Xander -- through all the seasons. What relationship did you “worship” the most? Willow/Tara. It just seemed so nicely executed and so natural. It wasn't all 'Oh look it's two girls', it was 'It's two people in love'. Buffy’s soul mate? I guess it would have to be Angel. He's a touchy subject for Buffy. In Season 7 there was an episode where she gave a speech to Xander and Willow (Selfless?), and she said "I killed Angel. Do you even remember that? I would've given up everything I had to be with-- I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life." but I like Xander with Buffy too, as a secondary option. Willow’s soul mate? Tara, no questions asked. Xander’s soul mate? Anya, but I like him with Buffy too (on occasion). Which death touched you the most? Joyce & Tara's death. Both were all so sudden and unexpected, and they brought out so much feeling because the Scoobies were such a tight-knit 'family' group, and they lost some of the ones they loved. Anybody who has ever lost someone suddenly can easily relate, and I think that's what really counts. It shows this in 'The Body' and for Tara parts throughout Dark Willow's arc and Season 7. Most notably 'Conversations with Dead People'. What is your favorite season and why? 3 or 4. Those seasons seemed so funtastic~ What season did you enjoy the least? Would definitely have to be Season 7, but Season 1 is close. I liked most of the fights and adventure-y feeling but with some of the characters going and others coming it just felt offset. I have to say I loved 'Help' 'Storyteller' and others, though. If you had to rank the seasons? 3-4-2-5-6-1-7 What is your favorite big bad? Angelus, and Glory. Both so powerful and memorable. However, there's another big bad I like, which as put in Joss's words was Season 6's 'life'. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? I loved 'Villains' with Dark Willow, but that was the only episode I liked apart from the first half of Two To Go, Willow grieving was so impacting -- this goes into third place. Graduation Day, Part Two will always be my favourite season finale. Just seemed like a nice wrap up with all the students of Sunnydale High banding together to fight one huge snake. It was great. There's also The Gift, which finishes in second. What is your favorite fight? Sunnydale High vs The Mayor/biggiantsnake & Willow vs Glory (in Tough Love) Do you have one favorite episode? GDP2, The Body -- it's so hard to choose. I just can't. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? BTVS is so great for the storyline, the character development, the villians, the emotion from within -- everything just comes into place. That's why. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? I haven't read 'The Chain' and am only at 'Wolves At The Gate Part 1' due to lack of good torrents for me =P, but I like it so far!

Real name?Veronika How old are you right now?17 years old What do you study/do for a living?Still on high school Place you are from?Prague, Czech Republic Place where you live now?The same old Prague, Czech Republic How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? Not sure. I just know I was young and didn't pay much attention to it. Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?Not counting my very first Buffy experience I started watching Buffy in January 2009. (Yep, I'm sort of newbie. Sort of.) It felt very good right away. I actually find a few episodes of Season 1 rather weak and the plot gets much more complicated and entertaining in Season 2, however, the humor and great actors have always been there. Do you remember the very first episode you watched?I don't remember the very first episode I watched, the very first episode I do remember watching is Prophecy Girl and Buffy's "I don't want to be the Slayer anymore". When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?Season 2, Halloween. At the time I realized I loved the show. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?Specific? Not really. But once I came to love it I enjoyed every minute of it, crying and laughing. Which means days that you can spend just watching Buffy... Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?Don't think so. I mean, yeah, I am critical to several aspects of the show but nothing big. Which character gave you more laughs overall? My comic duo is Harmony & Andrew (especially him). And Anya. And Season 4 Spike (with bits in seasons 2, 3 & 5) was pretty damn funny too. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?Hm, dunno. Of course I hate Warren for killing Tara and Caleb for being such a jerk but it's not like I was annoyed just by their presence. So I guess not. What is your favorite female character?Haaard question! I love Willow. I can also relate to Buffy since it's her show. The third one must complicated Faith. Hell, there is so many awesome female characters! What is your favorite male character? Also hard one. Spike. Xander. Giles. Andrew. Stop me someone! What relationship did you “worship” the most?I say Buffy/Spike and Willow/Tara! Buffy’s soul mate?Angel Willow’s soul mate?Tara Xander’s soul mate?Anya Which death touched you the most? How can you not be touched by Joyce's death in such as wonderful episode as The Body? But every single death was touching and heartbreaking, really. What is your favorite season and why?Season 5, I guess. Why? Come on, do you have to ask? What season did you enjoy the least?Season 1 with reasons stated above. If you had to rank the seasons? This is hard one too, but alright... 5-6-3-2-4-7-1. What is your favorite big bad?Dark Willow. Not because I find her cool, I hate to see Willow go all sad and therefore evil. Finale episodes of Season 6 are truly depressing (well, as the rest of the season) and since I tend to like depressing stuff... Dark Willow it is. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? As said before, I'm really into Season 6 finale. But in Buffy's case, there's no thing such as bad season finale. They're all breathtaking (2, 5, 6), empowering (1, 3, 7), unique (4) and fortunatelly, all made by Joss. What is your favorite fight?I suppose I like both Buffy & Angelus (Season 2 finale) and Buffy & Faith (Season 3 finale) fights. Oh those screwed up relationships. Do you have one favorite episode? One? Erm, erm. Ok, if I HAD TO answer I'd say Once More With Feeling of couse. But let's not forget The Body, Hush, season finales, Storyteller, Conversations With Dead People (Jane. Be. Good.), Normal Again, Tabula Rasa, Lies My Parents Told Me and many, MANY more... My personal super-favorite one is Who Are You (Faith!). Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?Nothing else like Buffy out there, that's for sure. Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? It doesn't have such as impact on me as the TV series but it's fun to read and it's still Buffy. Any new Buffy stories in any form are appreaciated. Uff.

Real name? Kristen How old are you right now? 18 years old. What do you study/do for a living? I'm going to be studying Film & Television Place you are from? Staten Island, NY Place where you live now? Boston, Massachusetts (in 2 weeks) How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? 17 Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? Well my best friend watched it and I used to make fun of him for it cause it looked stupid, then I watched it. I gave it my 3 episode rule and wanted to keep watching, so I guess I liked it once I started watching. Do you remember the very first episode you watched? Yes! And I think its a funny story. Way back when I was in elementary school I remember flipping the channels while cleaning my room and catching the middle of an episode, I had missed the beginning and turned it off before the end cause I didn't like it. It looked really dumb cause it was this Post-Apocalyptic town and this tough girl with a scar and just looked bad. Now, after watching the entire series about 100x I know that that episode was "The Wish" and that I had actually seen the alternate universe anti-Buffy-Buffy. So I judged it on exactly what it wasn't. When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? When I watched the entire series in 7 days and then started again. Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Probably while camping out online at the NYCC at 4am with my best friend waiting to see Joss. Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Not really, I mean I didn't love the Buffy college adjustment period so much, probably cause I'm not a Riley fan and when they awaken all the slayers. I miss the scooby gang, all of a sudden Buffy went global. Which character gave you more laughs overall? Its a three way tie Xander/Anya/Andrew. All for different reasons. Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? Kennedy, couldn't stand her then, still can't stand her now. What is your favorite female character? This is definitely a tie between Willow & Anya. I mean Willow came first but I relate so much to Anya What is your favorite male character? Probably Wesley What relationship did you “worship” the most? Its a tie between the Willow/Tara and the Anya/Xander, they were just so perfect together. Buffy’s soul mate? Angel. Willow’s soul mate? Tara. Xander’s soul mate? Anya. Which death touched you the most? While Joyce's made me cry so hard I can't even describe it, I was torn apart when Anya died. Mainly because she just died and the episode had to keep going, she was a casualty. While Andrew was sweet about it later it felt like she was just tossed aside like Jesse. (Plus I secretly hope that Joss will bring her back) What is your favorite season and why? This is a tie, mainly cause I absolutely love season 3 but season 6 has my favorite episodes in it OMWF and obviously Tabula Rasa. I love season 3 because it was everything that Buffy is, funny, strong, witty, heartfelt, serious, ridiculous, random and just plain awesome. What season did you enjoy the least? Its hard to say, season 4 had goods and bads and so did season 7. If you had to rank the seasons? 3-6-2-5-1-4-7 What is your favorite big bad? Probably Dark Willow, she was a truck driving magic mama. What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? Gah! I don't know if I can pick, I mean Prophecy Girl was Epic, Becoming was well ... Becoming, Graduation Day was freaking crazy, Restless was amazing, The Gift was ..., Grave was intense and amazing and just :sigh:, and then Chosen. What is your favorite fight? Probably Buffy V Faith in Graduation Day, that was epic. Do you have one favorite episode? Selfless. Definitely Selfless. I mean come one, Anya centered episode?!?! Plus I loved her hair in that ep. Second place is obvs Tabula Rasa. Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? EVERYTHING!Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? I think the whole "waiting a month" thing makes them better cause you have to wait. I mean I miss the actors but they are enjoyable. They've turned me into a nerd, but they are enjoyable.
