Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it?
I have known about Buffy since I was a preteen but I always thought I'd never like the characters. Me and my mother finally decided to watch it last year at the suggestion of several people we knew and we had watched I think the entire first season when I finally knew I was obsessed. Now I am all about Buffy and Angel and finding them has really helped me through some rough times.

Do you remember the very first episode you watched?

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?
Around the end of the 1st season, beginning of 2nd season.

Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?
At first I really didn't like the 4th season, but I ended up changing my mind about it. Some episodes I think are a little less worthy than others and I pretty much was hurt by a lot that happened in the last season but I don't remember really thinking it jumped the shark.

Which character gave you more laughs overall?
Spike

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
#1. Caleb #2. Sunday #3. Dawn
every now and then I liked Dawn, but for the most part it seemed like she was incapable of thinking of anyone but herself. The only times she was warm or kind were directly related to if someone was catering to her every need and I found that really frustrating when she had such good role models and so many important things to think about and consider. She saw the demons, witnessed the big fights and yet never could get her head away of herself.

What is your favorite female character?
Buffy is a great inspiration to me and I relate to her issues and life.... I also really relate to Willow. It's like I feel like Buffy if Buffy were Willow if that makes any sense. I am geeky and have always had less than ease with people. I like computers and I'm somewhat smart. I even owned a shirt that Willow wore in the show... the one with the bell sleeves in the 2nd season that looks like brightly-colored patchwork.

What is your favorite male character?
Spike and Angel

What relationship did you “worship” the most?
I can't choose between Angel and Spike for Buffy... Her and Angel had such a beautiful romance and I love them both so much, but I also really wanted Spike to have Buffy. Someone should finally really love him and they shared a unique and powerful bond with each other.

Buffy’s soul mate?
In the terms that I normally consider a soul mate.... Spike... second runner up would be Faith... because they are like her good and bad and because both sets will always have a lot to learn from each other...

Willow’s soul mate?
Tara

Xander’s soul mate?
Anya

Which death touched you the most?
Joyce.... watching her be sick and watching what happened between her and Buffy during that time... then seeing her well again and her actual death... it was very moving and very realistic

What is your favorite season and why?
That's hard.... I guess it'd be the second. I love the relationship with Angel... I like that time in show for all the main characters... and it seems to mix a lot of what is good about the 1st and 3rd seasons

What season did you enjoy the least?
season 4 or 7 can't decide which. The only thing I really liked about season 7 was finally seeing Buffy love Spike...

What is your favorite big bad?
the first answer was Angelus and you know I forget to think of him as a Big Bad because he's... a part of Angel. I guess he'd definitely be my favorite though because he's hilarious and brilliant and I find him fascinating. He is painful to watch though.

What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?
either the 1st or the 2nd... the episode where Buffy has to face the Master is classic Buffy and represents everything I love about her... the second is also good, though painful... it's one of those toughies but goodies

What is your favorite fight?
When Buffy fights Angel in the Becoming. They fight well together though again it's one of those toughies... I also like the part when he think he's beaten her and she grabs the blade and she says, "You forgot about one thing- me."

Do you have one favorite episode?
Probably one of these because of their power or because of that they say about the people involved...

I love this comment... Joss Whedon tells life how it is in all its beauty and every bit of its pain and like I said before I really needed that. I really needed to feel those things through Buffy and to see her deal with that pain. It made me feel so much less alone and helped me to make myself stronger.

Honestly, there were HEAPS of moment where this happened!

No. While I liked some seasons less than others (S6 especially), I would still call most of my least favourite episodes better than most episodes of any other shows. I'm a bit of a Buffy fanatic!

Which character gave you more laughs overall?
That's hard, they all get me laughing at points... Perhaps Anya.

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
When i first watched Buffy, I really didn't like Riley, Dawn or Kennedy at all. Now, I don't mind Kennedy and even like Riley and Dawn (though not as much as other characters). Strange how tastes change like that.

What is your favorite female character?
Anya, though others are right up there too..

What is your favorite male character?
Spike.

What relationship did you “worship” the most?
Hm. I love Spike/Dru, Willow/Oz and Spike/Buffy... :/

Probably season 5. It had both Spike and Anya at their best, I think, and the other characters were all brilliant too. It had a good plot with great twists, the right humour, very touching moments, etc.

Season 6, I would say. The depression thing with Buffy just went on too long, I think

5-2-3-4-1-7-6 This changes around with me a lot though, especially the other of 3, 4, 1 and 7. (not rating S8 as it needs to be complete before I feel I can put it in there)

What is your favorite big bad?
Spike, Dru and Angelus if I can say all 3. I also think that Glory and Dark Willow were awesome.

What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?
Blegh, I always have a different answer when this question comes up! I think each season has an awesome ending! They're all quite different but amazing in their different ways.

I fail at this question too... Um... So many awesome fights, I can't pick!

MAYBE Once More With Feeling, but again, that's a very hard choice...

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?
Buffy is amazing. It is a show that you can relate too, really it's just about a girl and her friends going through life, with a lot of real life situations. It is written brilliantly with great actors to complete it, playing awesome characters. It isn't just sci-fi; it has many genres, sci-fi, comedy, drama, romance, horror, action, etc, it has something for everyone. It has a great sense of humour, great jokes that are funny and witty. It has complex and clever plots; everything is carefully planned and turns out beautifully. I could write pages to answer this question, but I will leave it at that.

Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?
Yep, they're awesome! They aren't the TV show and there are things they could improve on some things, but I definitely love them.

The whole Dawn-thing...I found it really interresting,especially the thing about the blood-sharing with Buffy.

No,i don't think so,even if some episodes weren't the best or had a "weak" storyline,i never felt that the show was becoming boring or else .

I think it Anya,even if Xander had some good lines,Anya was the best .She was just sooo funny, ''i have finess coming out from my bottom",this line always make me laugh^^

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
I never had any ''probleme" with any of the characters,until the Spike/Buffy storyline of the season 6.Since this time,i wasn't able to stand Spike,i didn't understand how this guy who had no soul,who try to rape her,could possibly be her "love" and be forgiven ...

Willow.I can just so related to her .

Xander,idem than for Willow,i could related to him,and his humor was just great^^

I Didn't like it at first and the first episode I saw, me and my cousin were making fun of it. Then I saw Willow, and I was hooked.

The first scene I ever saw was in Tabula Rasa when Giles and Anya were arguing then ended up kissing. The first full episode I saw was Revelations.

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?
When I started watching it not only to see Willow.

For me, the show has always been about the characters, and how they interact with each other. The storylines, at the time, I thought were average but the characters blew me away. I fell in love with them, and then I started appreciated the storylines as well and realized how great they were.

Other than a few episodes in season 5, the series was consistently amazing.

at first, the Trio, but most specifically Andrew. But as I watched all seven seasons, Spike.

Riley, and Dawn. I don't really know what it was about Riley I didn't like, I just knew I didn't. I found him entertaining very few times. Dawn, was just plain annoying.

Willow is in a league of her own compared to the other characters to me.

Spike barely beats Xander for favorite male character.

My favorite season is season 6. It did an amazing job of tearing down the really strong characters that were built for 5 seasons. The episodes were really dark and meloncholy, and the only other season that can even compare is season 2.

Season 1 for no reason other than it was only 12 episodes.

There were parts I really didn't like, but I never thought they "jumped the shark".

Spike. Then Anya. Those two are amazing.

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
Dawn. She was far too whiney and childish. I wanted to slap her so many times and just kept waiting for Buffy to do so.

What is your favorite female character?
Hmm. Toughie. Probably Anya or Tara. I think both characters were deeply unappreciated. Anya was funny, yes, but she also had depth to her. It was interesting to watch her grow into the role of a human. Tara was a peach and I found myself liking her far more than I did Willow. That just turned out to be foreshadowing.

What is your favorite male character?
Spike for sure. I think he grew as a character more than anyone else, including Buffy herself. From William to William to Bloody to Spike to Spike with a soul, I could not stop being facinated by his character. Though Spike was a vampire and in part a demon by default, he was still able to keep shreads of his humanity that grew after he was forced to stop bathing in blood. [Thank you, chip] More than once, I cried for him. My heart went out to him on more than one occassion. Buffy was so cold toward him to a point of cruelty. Beyond that, even. Yet he still loved her and stayed by her side until the end.

What relationship did you “worship” the most?
Spike/Buffy [Spuffy], definatly

Buffy’s soul mate?
Tough answer. Angel was her first love. Their love was powerful. But the love Spike had with her was something more than that. It was more real, less like the fantasy fairytale. I believe they could have gone the distance.

A small part of me is holding out for Xander though. A bit abnormal, yes, but from what I've seen of Season 8, he's moving on up in life. I believe he deserves her now.

Willow’s soul mate?
Tara. Always Tara.

Xander’s soul mate?
To be decided. So far, no one.

~Willow--He lost his chance, I think. They would have had a beautiful relationship though.

Tara's, without a doubt. I gasped. I cried. I stared at the screen in horror. Tara was wonderful. I loved her.

Ooo. Either six or seven. Six because there wasn't really a "Big Bad", just the metaphor of life. It made the characters very real and more in our world. The seventh season was great because of the ways Spike and Buffy interacted with each other.

What season did you enjoy the least?
I liked them all....but I guess four. Adam was stupid.

Drusilla. I appreciate her character so much. Her insanity is quite captivating. Plus I love the way she says Spike. x)

Hmm... I'm not much of a fighter. I guess when Buffy beat the shit out of Spike because he said she came back wrong.

I have watched Once More With Feeling and Tabula Rasa so much that I'm waiting for that disc to just die. I can't just watch one either. I have to watch them BOTH. I'm also putting Beneath You under my favorite episode.

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?
I would also like to add that something else I like is the Dawn and Spike relationship. Not the gross one, but the friendship and brotherly/fatherly like attitude had toward her. Also, I was expecting more from Dawn and her keyness, but she just continued to be a thorn in everyone's side. And what is so special about BTVS is the characters, the writing, what the characters go though, and the beautiful metaphors.

Then I saw a full episode and thought it was hilarious, and then fairly quickly I became obsessed...I think everyone thought it would be a phase, or at least the obsessed part would, but apparently not.

I feel like it was Reptile Boy, but I can't guarantee anything

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?
Within the first couple of months of watching it. I was watching re-runs at that point on Space and wasn't caught up yet, so I made sure I was home to watch it every night because lucky for me the re-runs were on every night

I still feel like I can't control it sometimes

No, anything I didn't like at first I've grown to love, like Dawn...however there have been a couple of things in the comic book I haven't grown accustomed to yet...lets see if I do

Oz, Anya, Xander and even Spike occasionally. They're the ones that really make me laugh

Anya at first (Don't throw things at me) and both Dawn and Kennedy when they first came too. However as I said before, they've all grown on me, Kennedy not as much as the other two, but I'm not chanting "Kill her!" over and over again anymore so that's improvement

Buffy is always my favourite for some reason...followed closely by Faith, and for some reason Tara...they don't seem to have a flow to them, but they make sense to me.

Buffy/Spike. It took me awhile to get it as I was originally a Bangel shipper like most...however once I jumped on the band wagon I never wanted down, and there I sit to this day.

don't believe in soul mates, though perhaps Angel but I still like her and Spike better, I just think they didn't get their chance.

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?

From the start! I never missed an episode.

Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?

Always seemed logical to be obsessed since it's the best show ever.

Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?

Randomly adding a family member out of nowhere is generally seen as jumping the shark. I think the introduction of Dawn did jump the shark technically, but I really enjoy Season 5 so I don't even mind. Also, I think a gradual jumping of the shark was Spike taking over the show to a silly degree. (Is there such a thing as a gradual shark-jumping? I dunno.)

Which character gave you more laughs overall?

Cordelia got all the best snark. Though all the characters can make you laugh for different reasons, whether you laughed with them or at them. Different humour, all good dialogue.

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?

At first I just didn't understand why Riley was on the show. But in S5 I warmed to him more and sympathized with him. I just thought he was quite bland, especially in Season 4. I can see the good in most characters.
I hated Spike at the end, simply because it was turning into the Spike Show. Even then I still liked the character arc though, so... Guess I don't really hate anyone much.

What is your favorite female character?

Overall, Buffy. But Cordelia is my favourite if you include her arc in AtS, which I don't for this.

What is your favorite male character?

Giles.

What relationship did you “worship” the most?

The Buffy/Angel relationship was fantastic the first time around, mostly because I was so young. I love a bit of melodrama. The relationship ended when it should have, in my opinion.
I enjoyed Cordy/Xander while it lasted.

Buffy’s soul mate?

I don't know. I got so tired of Buffy's relationships.

Willow’s soul mate?

Tara. Even though she treated her like shit.

Xander’s soul mate?

Anya? I don't care about soulmates on this show!

Which death touched you the most?

Buffy's in "The Gift". Or Jenny Calendar's death in "Passion". For completely different reasons.

What is your favorite season and why?

I S2 or S3. S2 got very intense at points and even the silly episodes are pretty good for entertainment value. S3 however has a greater cohesion, is paced better, has almost all good episodes... So probably S3 overall.

What season did you enjoy the least?

Season 7. Ugh ugh ugh.

If you had to rank the seasons?

Difficult! S2 and S3 at the top, S7 at the bottom. The others somewhere in the middle.

What is your favorite big bad?

I liked them all for different reasons. Angelus was great because it was so personal to Buffy. The Mayor because he was hilarious but menacing (and the Faith aspect was brilliant of course). I thought the pacing of the Mayor's storyline was done perfectly. I actually thought all the Big Bad's were great in their own way. Even Season 6's "Life is the Big Bad" theme.

What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)?

I think I'll rank them because I rather enjoy all of them:
1. "Becoming, Part 2"
2. "Graduation Day, part 1 and 2" (I actually enjoyed part 1 more)
3. "Restless"
4. "The Gift"
5. "Prophecy Girl"
6. "Grave"
7. "Chosen".

What is your favorite fight?

Anything with Buffy and Faith ("Revelations", "GD, pt 1", "WAY").

The Angel/Buffy swordfight was fab. It was the first fight on the series were I was like, "Wow!" And when Buffy stopped the sword with her hands I was like, "Fuck yeah!"

Do you have one favorite episode?

Probably but I like many for different reasons so it's hard to compare. It's probably "Passion".

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?

It was so different from other shows. In how it handled death and misery with humour and the supernatural and how it doesn't have the same tone each episode or season. It's funnier, more touching, and cooler than any other show I've ever seen. My first love, y'all.

Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?

I don't read them (heathen!). I don't really count them as canon as it's a different medium altogether. I might enjoy them if I read them.

Season 4 , thought some stand alone episodes where fantastic , but the whole Adam arc wasn`t up to Angelus/Mayor standard. Riley was also a pain at this time.

The Mayor , cleanliness is next to immortality. She wasn`t a big bad , but I loved Sunday in The Freshman , thought Katherine Towne was briliant and it was a shame she was dusted so early.

Probably season 2 , the whole Angelus ending the world plot was so well played and Spike as a double agent. 5 for the people behind the scenes to actually finish the show with Buffy dead.

Buffy - Faith in Graduation Day pt1. Thought that Xander and Harmony in The Initiative was hilarious.

Homecoming........Cordy the Vampire Slayer(nearly)

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?
It was just sheer class. The characterisation was amazing , the acting was spot on and the writing was sublime. I mentioned earlier that I was raving about Buffy from early in the first season , but the name was enough to put people off BTVS , people would say to me it sound like Sabrina The Teenage Witch and try as i might there where people who refused to budge( their loss) , but I did get a few to watch and they enjoyed it. I was watching Veronica Mars earlier and I love it , but I know that without Buffy there would be no Veronica.

Yes they are ok , just would have preferred the animated series to go ahead.

I watched it for a while and by season two I felt it was getting kind of cheesy so I stopped watching it for a while. Soon after I went back. I have been a Buffy fan since I first saw the show, But many things happened in my life over the course of the show so I didn't see Seasons 4-7 until I bought the DVD sets in 2008.

I believe it was either "The Puppet Show" or "Nightmares". This was in 1997 so honestly, I don't remember.

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?
I was a big fan of Buffy since I first saw it, But I didn't become truly addicted until I bought the dvd sets. Now I am a Buffy addict!

Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?
Pretty much after getting the dvd sets I was so addicted it was like watching Buffy was something I HAD to do. I would stay up all night watching Buffy. Even on days I had to work!

Not really. There are some episodes that aren't my favorite..But the more I watch them the more I find something about them to like. I also find more things that I didn't see before.

Which character gave you more laughs overall?
Definatly Spike and Anya. They are just too much. I'll find myself laughing at the same points in the same episodes each time I watch them even though I've seen them about 4-5 times.

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
I did not care for Kennedy. It's not that I have anything against HER..It's just that after Willow turning into dark Willow to avenge Tara's death..It seemed a little unrealistic to me that she would have fallen for someone else so soon without really knowing them. That bugged me. Also I'm not a big fan of Adam. He just annoys me at points.

What is your favorite female character?
Buffy,Willow,Tara,Drusilla & Anya are my favorite female characters. I can't choose just one. They are all such rich, fascinating characters.

What is your favorite male character?
Spike. He is in MPO the most fun,interesting character in the Buffyverse. He has SO much depth to him. Even though we learn alot about him in both Buffy and Angel there is still so much that hasn't been discovered. Angel is a close second. He's a very well written character as well.

Which death touched you the most?
Joyce’s death. Unlike the other Buffy deaths Joyce's death was more realistic and much more heartbreaking. Her death was not one caused by mystic forces or the monsters that lurk in the dark. She died from complications from her surgery. It's a death that so many people can relate too. I cry every single time I see this episode. It's so heartbreaking.

What is your favorite season and why?
1,2,4,6,7 are my favorite. I'm not saying I dislike 3 & 5 I just like the others better because of the characters that the writers focus on in these seasons.

What season did you enjoy the least?
Season 3. Not all of it though. Only the parts where Faith goes all rogue slayer and tries to kill all the scoobies. Other than that I love season 3.

Drusilla. She may be insane but she is aware of her surroundings. She has so much life to her [metaphorically speaking]. She's such a fantastic character. I wish we got to see more of her.

Graduation Day Pt1&2,Grave,Prophecy Girl,and The Gift are my favorite.

What is your favorite fight?
The fight in "Becoming Part II" between Buffy And Angel. We saw that even though Angelus assumed that without her friends Buffy was just another girl he was wrong. Without them she may not have much but she still has herself. A slayer always stands alone..No matter who is fighting by her side.

Also, Buffy gave up Angel to save the world. She loved him more than anything but she killed him because she knew it was the right thing to do. She knew it was what she had to do. That's what makes a true warrior.

Do you have one favorite episode?
One of my favorites is Tabula Rasa. It's just SO amazingly funny. It also shows how things could have been different for each one of the characters if that is how they actually met and had no idea who the other people were.

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?
BTVS makes me feel things that I didn't know I was capable of feeling. I cry when a character I love dies. Buffy said that Dawn was made out of her..that Dawn is a part of her. I feel like I am a part of Buffy. I know it sounds silly..But there's that feeling I get when I watch it. A feeling I have all to myself.

Yes and no. I like that they are continuing to give life to BTVS but I am not a HUGE fan of the comics. Who knows, Maybe if I read more I will get into them.

Dawn. I HATED HER. Yeah, I've been told I'm just like her- but I did NOT like her. I didn't like the contant screaming, stealing, or just popping in out of nowhere thing. Oh, and CALEB. I HATE THAT MAN!!! NOBODY HURTS XANDER!!!! (Or Dr.Horrible!!!!) Then I saw Mal later on and now I do not hate him so much!

Hmmmm....I'd have to say...Willow. She's so sweet and adorable in the first three seasons, and is pretty cool later on, as well.

1 was alright because it was the first true danger, 2 was i think the best because Buffy stabbed Angel! Angel!!!!, 3 was also amazing nearly tied with 2, 4 was...restless was so cool and I loved the metaphors, 5...buffy died! BUFFY!, 6-eh...didn't really do it for me. Though the crayon speech was cute, , 7-kinda anti-climactic..but w/e.

Angelus and Buffy for it's epicness and Xander and Harmony for it's patheticness

Once More with Feeling is probably my favorite. But all the Season Finale's are up there too

I loved it from the start, a love that just continued growing and has yet to wane.

That would be the very first episode! I saw in the TV Guide that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was airing that particular Monday night. Thinking it was the movie, which I had never seen but heard about from friends, I tuned in. It ended up being the premiere of the TV show. I was hooked from the beginning.

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?
The Witch. I loved the 2-part premiere, but I remember vividly the third episode really clenching the deal for me. I had it recorded on VHS and watched it every day as I waited for the new episode. I think where I was so young, I just really enjoyed the comical aspect of the show, and the Witch was freakin hilarious!

Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?
I always remember seeing Becoming for the first time. I was a mess. As Buffy rode off in the bus, I was bawling and screaming "COME BACK BUFFY! COME BAAAAACKKKKK!!!!" My mom ran upstairs thinking I was dying, haha. I've never been affected by television or film as much as with that episode.

Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?
Not at all. The writers did take risks that if someone who didn't watch the show heard about would think they jumped the shark. But there was always a greater purpose and such wonderful follow through. The risks paid off.

Which character gave you more laughs overall?
Cordelia, Anya, and Andrew.

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?
During the 1st run I hated Tara up until she left in Tabula Rasa. Now she's my favorite character (go figure). I hated Dawn for a long time, and wasn't a fan of Riley. Now I appreciate them much more. Still a little iffy on Kennedy. But the only character I really can't stand is Rona.

What is your favorite female character?
Tara's my girl. I see a lot of myself in her, and love the growth she displays throughout her time on the show. Willow is a close second.

What is your favorite male character?
Andrew. Party cuz he shares my name :-) But mostly cuz he's hilarious and I love his integration into the Scooby gang.

What relationship did you “worship” the most?
Buffy and Angel for the first half of the series, then Willow and Tara.

Which death touched you the most?
Tara's was the most shocking and horrific to me. Plus she was my favorite. That was hard to watch, and still is to this day. But I get chills every time Willow looks up with those blood red eyes.

What is your favorite season and why?
I'm doing a rewatch now. Back in the day I would have said Season 2 because of the beautifully tragic Buffy/Angel romance. But I think I've decided Season 5 is my favorite. It has a cohesiveness that no other season can touch. The main plot and each character's arcs are woven together so wonderfully culminating in one of the most poignant and breathtaking finales. Love Glory. Love the Key storyline. Love Buffy's journey to learning what being a slayer means. Love Willow first really tapping into her darker power. Lots of drama and pain, but a healthy dose of comedy. Near flawless.

What season did you enjoy the least?
I'll have to say Season 1 but only cuz it's the shortest!

Glory, hands down.

Becoming for sure. It had it all. Comedy, romance, drama, action, death. Like I said before, it's the episode that really affected me the most.

I love the epicness of the final battle with Glory. Everyone kinda gets to play a part. All the weapons that were introduced throughout the season are brought together to really kick that hell god's ass!

How can you pick one?! I honestly love them all. I guess I'll say Becoming Part 2 just to say one.

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?
BTVS is the only show I've ever known to display such realistic and well thought out character growth, which is kinda funny coming from such an out of this world show.

Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?
I really do enjoy them, I get excited every month when they're released. It's obviously not the same as the series, but I still appreciate having new Buffy stories to look forward to.

Yes, absolutely. As soon as I saw an episode I was hooked.

Yes, the only reason I remember was because I saw a preview for the two-night event. BtVS was switching from Monday nights to Tuesday nights. The first episode I watched was Surprise.

When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show?

During Becoming, those two episodes was when I realized that I was addicted.

Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it?

Yes, when I started buying merchandise that was tied with the show. I've never done that with any other show before. And even now, while I've got a couple things that are connected with other shows it's minimal in comparison.

Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running?

No, although I do think Season 4 was a weaker season than most of the others I don't think it jumped the shark because Season 5 was much better.

Which character gave you more laughs overall?

Hmm, this is hard. So many characters gave me laughs for different reasons. I'd say Anya gave me a lot of laughs, so did Spike, Andrew, Wesley, and Giles.

Was there a character you really couldn’t stand?

Kennedy, I know that there are some people who thought she was spunky/strong/etc. She is the one character that I never liked. And honestly I don't know why, just ever since she came onto the show she's made my hair stand on end.

Another character that I couldn't stand was Warren. Normally I love the villains, the more villainous the better but I wanted Warren to die and I was joyful when DarkWillow skinned him.

What is your favorite female character?

Buffy, I related to Buffy so much, when I first started watching the show I was so depressed and I started watching during the episode Surprise so when she was going through the pain of Angelus I was going through my own issues. So I always felt close the Buffy character.

What is your favorite male character?

Easily Angel/Angelus, Giles, and Spike. Love them.

What relationship did you “worship” the most?

Buffy/Angel(us) all time favorite. Although Buffy/Spike is a close second.

This is hard, I think both Oz & Tara were perfect for Willow she should be able to have both.

Hmm, another tricky one. It's a toss up between Season 2 & 3 those are my favorites. Angelus/Spike/Dru were such wonderful villains plus there was plenty Angel/Buffy stuff whether they were fighting or in love I enjoyed it. Season 5 is also a favorite, such a good season arc and great episodes.

What season did you enjoy the least?

Season 1 & 4. Not strong seasons. Even though I like all the Buffy seasons those two despite having episodes I love just wasn't up to other seasons.

Toss up between Angelus (I know he was only the big bad for a half season but I loved him) and Glory.

Becoming and Graduation Day. Those were my favorites.

The Buffy/Faith fights are wonderful. My favorite of theirs was the Graduation Day fight in Faith's apartment. Also Glory/Buffy fight during The Gift.

Surprise/Innocence, Passion, Becoming (Pt I & II), Amends, Bad Girls/Consequences, Graduation Day (I & II), Fear Itself, Something Blue, This Years Girl/Who Are You, Restless, Real Me, Fool for Love, Intervention, Bargaining (I & II), Life Serial, Once More with Feeling, Him, and Showtime

Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS?

I think BtVS is so special because there was something for everyone. It didn’t just stick to horror or humor or drama it was all of those things and more in every episode. Even the episodes that aren't very good I still like.

Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics?

Don’t really know yet. I’ve read the first 3-4 issues (have all the ones available just haven’t read them) but I got so excited to read the next issue that the anticipation was killing me so I decided to wait until I was about 2-3 issues from the end of Season 8. I liked the first few issues I read so I’m definitely looking forward to reading the rest.
