I've said this before, the onyl way Angel will be redeemed in my eyes is if hell is thrown on top of him and he comes out of it - again. He can't be blamed for being controlled NOW, but before -- Angel being destiny's bitch must stop. Season 8 ruined Angel for me...I hope they bring him back.
I'm pretty sure Willow, Xander or Giles are ever going to die. They're the core Scoobies. I'm pretty sure Joss said that they won't ever die. That's why my thoughts are lingering over to Dawn...

Honestly, as a Buffy fan from the beginning, just want Buffy Season 8 to be over. I really just want Season Eight to end. I'm sick of all the absurdity, the mystery, the secrets, the OOC-ness. I want Season 8 DONE. And the scoobies back together.

I don't post much on here, because I don't receive the comics, like everyone else, and wait to read reviews and read every post on this forum.
Well, from what I've gathered here's what I have to say:
If, in fact there is a main character marked for death, unfortunately Dawn, is the prime example: It's been established multiple times that Willow, Xander and Giles won't ever die, as Buffy NEEDS them, and they'll always be the core four.
The Betrayal: I agree, that the Slayers will betray Buffy, debunk her as leader, and go about their business. There's no doubt that the Slayers would want Buffy impeached as the leader, after all this is said and done, and I would love that
Buffy needs to be ALONE after this. I believe that the "Seed of Wonder," baby Universe, that Bangel created, after it's cracked as seen in "Anywhere but Here," will bring Buffy back to her senses, making her breakdown and cry as seen in the issue. And her feeling of the "bestest worst bestest" WHATEVER, will come crashing down. In my eyes, she's still under the Glowy euohoria.
Buffy = ALONE = She will be back to her self, do some soul searching, she'll be done baking, she'll be cook. I, for one, am sick of Buffy being made the fool of, especially with this season. I'm hoping for a soul searching lone journey, without Spike, without Angel, without the Slayerettes and without Giles, Willow, or Xander. Because frankly, I miss Buffy.
Now that Angel is coming to Dark Horse, I need for their to be some reckoning for him. I want ALL HELL to drop on Angel's head, for him to be redeemed for me. No matter what he did for the Greater Good, as Twilight, Season 8 has tarnished him quite a bit, in my eyes. I really want to know why/how he did what he did, in spite of Connor. I want to see how he comes into play, and what he has to say about this, in Angel's mini-series, in Season 9.

Can someone post the full summary of this issue on the Buffy wikia Last Gleaming page, please? Once again, I lack the comics, so I would really like to know what happened.

I've just started re-watching the entire series, and the last episodes I watched were I Only Have Eyes for You, and Becoming Part 1.
I Only Have Eyes For You - makes me feel for Giles, so much, when he desperately wants the ghost to be Jenny. While Buffy and Angel's scenes being possessed touch me to the core each time, and I can see why Joss gave Angel his own show.
Becoming Part 1- I must agree Buffy's running scene at the end, is epic. One thing, I'm always confused about with this 2-parter is why, exactly, does Angelus even want to send the world to hell? Like Spike, he seems like a vamp who enjoys bringing horror and torture the world, not one who wants to end it. I felt that this was kind of out of character for him.

So, can I just ask everyone, do YOU accept everything that happens After, After the Fall as canon? Even though it isn't officially.

[[RILEY ONE-SHOT SPOILERS]] Well after reading the Riley one-shot today i'd like to add more fuel to the speculations, in the novel Queen of the Slayers, Buffy is visited by the good demon, WHISTLER!. The Powers That Be send him to Buffy!. And now it is revealed in season eight that Whistler was sent to Angel, from the Powers That Be! sounds oddly similarrrr... That was revealed way back in Season 2...EXTREMELY old news. And I read Queen of the Slayers, and while some parts intrigued me, others dissapointed and felt "not-Buffy." I don't think they snagged tid-bits from the novel, I think it's just a coincidence.

The revelation in this episode was first looked upon in Restless and Buffy v. Dracula, "You think you know what you are...." and Dracula discussing the darkness that really is in Buffy. I wonder if the demon that the Slayer power comes from is the demon that vampires stem from. I can never get enough of the scene with Buffy telling off her friends, which is well called for for motivation for the upcoming battle, though it began the mutiny that happens later on in the season.

This episode for me is when Andrew first became a Scooby in my eyes. One of those on the road to redemption. And I believe Willow and Rona were right about how they think that they might need a record if they do save the world. Kennedy forcing her way into the gang is really annoying though i don't have any personal qualms when it comes to her.

This episode is amazing. Did anyone else notice the jealous relationship tone in Spike and Buffy's conversations in this episode. "What did i think thinking you could get along with my friends...". Anya was really overdramatic in this episode, im pretty sure she's been through worse in her 400 years other than being trapped in a house with a demon ont he loose.

i dont understand why people hate on season 6. and the fact that some dont understand that the big bad this season isn't the trio or dark willow but LIFE. This season was incredible. I loved Tara this season, she was amazing and when she died i felt the pain that willow felt. Xander leaving Anya was predictable Joss doesn't like his characters to be happy. Buffy coming back storyline was believable she was in paradise for god sakes and got sent back to hell, almost literally. Dawn, has lost her mother, her sister, her father's estranged, her sisters back from the dead and isn't paying her any attention and the girl she thinks of as her mother is becoming a junkie! She has a reason to be whine!!

I agree with Courtney, my favorite Dawn is Season 7 era Dawn where she was juniorwatcher gal, and she was good with the potentials and Buffy started training her in the beginning of the season. Now shes's back to being whiney.

I like the whole story but dislike some moments. First of all - the whole Angel is Twilight idea. Whatever explanation is, it is still wrong. Totally. Whedon likes angst, I know, but this is too much! Buffy being gay or bisexcual.. well, I was just shocked. Don't know really is it good or bad thing. Though I like Fuffy Buffy/Xander. Well, one user said .Buffy rejects Xander for YEARS then all of the sudden she may or may not have feelings for him? Huh? . I couldn't say better . Also. The whole mess about loosing power - only to remain undiscovered by Twilight. But.. WTF? They were discovered. They had a battle. And now they want their powers back. Hmm.... may be they shouldn't give up on their powers for the fist place? Because all they got in the end - a big waste of time in Tibet. Vampires becoming popular because of Harmony's show.. I think it is ridiculous and unreal... even for comics. I agree with everything you said. Though I do believe that something big and good is going to come out of Angel being Twilight. I'm kind of excited for the rest of the season. But Vampy Cats, Mecha Dawn, Vampires-in, Slayers-out, is really ridiculous Why would the known world fall in with monsters eating people and think its the new cool thing. The series has just gotten too comic-booky

I agree with the Willow turning Amy back into a rat thing. But how exactly is Amy more important than we think? Is she the one that gave Angel/Twilight these new fangled powers? Will she be casting the spell that sends magick away from our dimension? PLEASE SPOILER TAG ANYTHING TO DO WITH TWILIGHT'S IDENTITY IN THREADS THAT DO NOT NECESSARILY PERTAIN TO HIM

Has anyone ever speculated that Angel being Twilight is not such an evil thing. I really do not believe that this is Angelus we're dealing with or that Angel is working for some higher power.
Angel possibly just wants all magicks to end, knowing that he will cause the downfall of mankind as is prophecied in After the Fall (which has been officially announced as canon). So why not get rid of everything supernatural to stop that?
The whole thing is WHY! Other than that theaory WHY does Angel want to end all magicks? Why does he act like he REALLY doesn't care that he's hurting people? (Killing many innocent slayers- innocent girls, saying to Buffy in A Beautfil Sunset "the slayer always whining"...really?) Why take on the Twilight persona period?
I mean it's a shock, Angel is Twilight??? Obviously that clears up that Buffy Season 8 takes place a short while after AtF.
